you can get them at petco, but like jeff says with the fish, the lizards are the same way. id recommend finding a reptile shop, they will sell heat lamps, tanks, heat rocks, everything you need.

and well worth it, but if he gets out, just forget about it, you arent finding him

I had a firebelled newt, it shared my 10 gallon tank with a fire bellied toad! You have to feed them crickets though...

Here's an old story.
When I was a kid, I got some newts, or salamanders, or some shit.
I built a great terrarium with a pond, and some greenery, and a small tree... It was beautiful.
When I finished, I left the tank on the back stoop, while I went inside to wash up, and have a snack.

Here's the lesson. Don't leave your terrarium in the direct midday sun in the middle of July!!
Talk about crispy critters!
