Ive been without cable for a day now

And Im going nuts. Long story short, back when my Mom bought the house, she called to have the cable switched to her name since it was still on. The cable co. told her that they have no record of there ever being cable in the house. Menwhile every singe room in my house has cable. Well yesterday afternoon I noticed the cable was out. This has happened before but it came back in less that an hour in the past. Well this time it hasnt changed. I get one channel only. I plan on buying an antenna tommorow at work for my room, and I hope that the cable comes back soon. If not I might have to dig up where I hit my cable line a few months ago and make sure mosture didnt get in even though I put the cable in a pipe and taped both ends. God this sucks. I dont even have any DVDs to watch. Hell I only own 3

If I watch 3 hours of TV per week it is a lot. There have been 2-3 week spans where I do not turn the TV on. I listen to O&A and R&F as I read and surf the net.

Unless you have DSL. You can not have highspeed Internet unless you have cable. And Cable is so much better than DSL.

well if it makes you feel any better. i have cable but my tv just blew tonight. lately it has been shutting itself off for no apparent reason. tonight it did the same thing and when i went to turn it back on, a white line started flashing in the middle of the screen and slowly faded and then nothing. no the tv won't even come on. this really sucks. luckily we have another tv, but i have to wait for furie to get home to bring it out and hook it up.

Go to a library. Sometimes they have DVDs. But they also have other cool things like books, magazines, and newspapers. It's challenging to actually have to picture these images in your mind, but it's very possible, and ultimately rewarding.

Im still alive. Went out and bought the 3 pack of Austin Powers Movies the other day at work. My Mom and I are looking into Direct TV. Menwhile I still need to look at where I accidentally sliced the cable a while back, maybe, just maybe something happened to that and thats why I dont have cable.
