Careful iflingpoo.  The last person to question Mikey D's parenting was a old friend of mine named Coco, and the scavangers on this board beat her unmercyfully into submission until she was having such a shitty time here she left out of disgust.  I'm not sure what made them think they had the right to ruin someone's fun here, but no one stopped it, so I guess it was OK with staff.

Some context for anyone who missed the end of the show tonight -
Fez had a bit of drunken meltdown at the end wherein he stomped Mikey D a new mudhole.  It's pretty clear that the stress from his grandmother dying and the job situation (which is apparently decided but not announced) have had Fez running in the red for awhile now & he just went off.
PS Is there any situation where Ron is NOT both a stand-up guy and a bringer of the funny?  As a listener (only), I haven't heard one yet.

Mikey D is a good guy,  remember that this is radio people and not everything you hear is real.  Unfortunately I did not hear the end of the show, but you have to take everything with a grain of salt.

I have been listening to ron and fez for four years and what happened with fez tonite is why they are the greatest radio hosts...It was the most real,beautiful moment on radio ive ever heard...when i heard ronnie go over to fez and hug him, I was about to cry... these guys are counted on everyday to make us happy..it must take its toll.  I'm a new poster so im sure this has been said, and ill get abused but i gotta say..its crazy  how they impact so many fans lives without knowing..im usually very clever and witty!!.but the way Fez vented tonite was so raw it made me think.

I'll give no opinion of Mikey D. That's between him and Fez. All I can say is, I was on the way to make a delivery when Fez broke down. I had to pull over for a while before I got there, because I was crying so much. Though I've never met Fez, hearing his breakdown was like hearing if  from a family member. I just hope he got out what he needed to, because it's obvious he was really hurting (regardless of the help from the alcohol).  Best wishes, Fez!!!

I agree, but I don't really blame him...he is a regular guest and friend of the show for a long time..but he is also a huge fan like we are and I dont think he realizes that they have their shit going on in their lives that is unrelated to the show that affects their lifes...he wasnt intentionally being selfish and im sure he feels awful about it in retrospect

Yeah, tonight was legit.  I don't know if Fez was in a tough spot because of his grandma got overly sensitive and just vented on Mikey D, or if Mikey was really an that much of an ass during this tough time for Fezzy.  Only he and Fez know for sure.

First he cries ad nauseum about no one wishing him a happy birthday. For the love of God, you're a grown man. Than he calls on Fez's birthday to wish him one, after he knew his Grandmother died. I was there tonight for the last half hour...I had just finished a Comedy Show in town and turned on the radio and heard it was Fez's birthday on the way home. I turned around ran to the store to get him a cake. I did it because Ron & Fez have been great to me by having me on from time to time and they really are great guys....but as soon as I walked in BAM..the meltdown on air. I can tell you he has a lot on his plate..he is still in the grieving process over his grandmother and it showed tonight and its not going to go away tomorrow either.
He needed to get some of that off his chest and I dont think it mattered who called whether it was Mikey D or whoever it probably would have come out.
Of course the alchohol makes the demon come out of all of us sometimes...<grin>
