Opening day starts tomorrow! The Braves will once again win the NL East
and choke in the playoffs. I will once again realize this but forget
and start to believe in them around September and be completely crushed
come playoff time.

I think "monsters" are a bit of a stretch. Beyond the 1st 4 spots in
the order (Pierre, Castillo, Cabrera, Delgado) its a bit of a drop off.
The pitching staff is pretty solid but your 2 aces are constantly
injured, and Al Leiter pitches a 3-2 count on everyone. Mota is an
inexperienced closer who I dont think will fair too well. Personally I
think the division will be won by either the Braves or the Mets...

I'd be a little worried about Smoltz if I was a Braves fan.  Not because of yeasterday, but because they are asking him to comeback and give them 200 innings when he hasn't pitched more then 80 the last four years.  He turns 38 next month.  I guess you can make the argument that he's rested his arm the last four years but I'm more a believer in that his arm is no longer conditioned to pitch that many innings.  I wouldn't be surprised if he has a solid first half and then fades down the stretch.

The Orioles stomped the Yanks last night, and currently have 4 earned runs over 4 innings (5 total) against Randy Johnson. I'll enjoy this while it lasts.

Our starters have looked OK and we would be 4 - 2 if it were not for
Tim FUCKING Worrell and Aaron Fultz. Aaron Fultz? This is going to be a
long season.On a somewhat positive note, Pat Burrell has looked
good, Gavin Floyd looked really good today shutting down the Cardinals
(20 straight retired with THAT lineup!) and Ryan Madson has been solid.
Besides that....This is going to be a long season. At least the
Red Sox will keep me halfway sane. It is nice to watch them but damn,
there is nothing like watching the hometown team do well.

I caught some of the Braves/Mets game on TBS Xtra last night and I
like the Cable Cam but the Catcher Cam? Good for replays but not for
the actual pitch. AND What is with the graphics on the field for the
lead man off first? I sure hope FOX don't see this. I am not exactly
crazy about the NFL graphics witht he big arrow telling you how far
there is to go for a 1st Down. The yellow line does that good enough,
no? It even took me a while to get used to that. SOME on screen
graphics are fine but I have a feeling there is going to be an
excessive use of them soon and it will get really annoying to watch a
game. In any sport.

far the NL West looks interesting. Dodgers scored 4 in the bottom of
the ninth to beat the Giants. The Padres, much like the Mets, are done.
Is Arizona really any good? Seems like their getting the Peyton Manning
effect now that RJ is in NY (or it could be that they are playing the
Rockies). 
Also, seeing both Boston and New York at the bottom of the AL East makes me smile. Go Orioles and Blue Jays!

gotta agree with that. The only ones that have been solid in the early
going of the season are Brad Lidge and Joe Nathan. The rest suck balls.
We'll see how Gagne does when he comes off the DL...

Yeah, yeah, I know it's early, but already this season, the Orioles have played the Yanks 6 times.  They've taken five out of six (which equals their entire win total against the Yankees last year), including a 3 game sweep finished off today.  Overall, the O's are 8-4.  Right now, it's good to be a Baltimore fan.  How quickly will our bubble get burst?

If they get anything resembling decent seasons out of their starters there's is no reason for them not to be in the hunt for the Wild Card (if not the division) by September.  They hit like the Red Sox & Angels, they have a spark-plug kinda guy in Roberts, their closer is a bad mother, and they play in a fun stadium that favors their offense-heavy approach.  Oh yeah, and if they are fighting for a playoff spot against the Yanks, their owner HATES them (or specifically George) enough & is has PLENTY of money to go out & get anything they might need at the deadline.

Orioles beat the Tigers 8-4, while the Yankees lose to the dismal Devil Rays.  As I said before, it's a great time to be an Orioles fan.  So..... for a message board devoted to a show that has always been on the east coast and is currently based in the DC area, HOW THE HELL CAN I BE THE ONLY ORIOLES FAN? I'm starting up the bandwagon -- everybody get on board!  Orioles Magic!  Feel it happen!  Why Not?

I guess cause I am down in the Baltimore/DC area so often, I can't
help but feel good for the state of the Orioles and the Nationals. Been
going to O's games since I was a kid and looking forward to seeing some
Nats games this year as well. Not saying I am a huge fan but just a
casual observer. I may even get me a hat to add to the hat collection.
It is nice to watch the games when I am down there. I'm down there so
much I should get my own place. With the Orioles, any team who
can beat up the Yankees makes me quite happy. As far as the Nats go, I
have always been a closet Expos fan and I really just like their team.
So far so good for them both.

I'm not on the Orioles bandwagon but everyday I log on to MLB.com and see
them leading the AL East.....well my heart sings. I find myself rooting
for the Blue Jays at times too. Any playoff without the Yankees and/or
Red Sox would be a BEAUTIFUL thing.

Speaking of the Orioles...here's something interesting I picked up on my ESPN Insider to-day..  quote:  Apr. 19 - According to the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles may make a pitch for first baseman Todd Helton. Baltimore would like to take Helton and his monstrous contract (an average of $15.7 million a year through 2011) off the hands of the Rockies – if and when Colorado raises the white flag.  One potential trade offer could include Jay Gibbons, outfielder Nick Markakis, starting pitcher Hayden Penn and lefty reliever John Parrish. The O's might even throw in Sidney Ponson, with cash. But before any deal could become reality, two major obstacles must be overcome, the Denver Post reports. Well, the second one would be no big deal...I mean Helton's probably super tired of losing and rebuilding in Colorado....But does anyone really want to play for the Orioles?  I mean this seriously, not as a shot at B-Mo, but they get turned down by huge free agent names it seems like every year, i mean the real superstars, not declining guys like Sosa, but guys like Pavano and Vlad Guererro...Hell didn't they offer Vlad more money than the Angels? And the Orioles need pitching more than they need Todd Helton....

Ponson and your staff has been pretty good since Miller took over mid to late last year MikeyWell, prior to yesterday's start Ponson had a 10+ ERA.  Add to that the extra stress of tring to deal with getting a 3 day visa to visit Canada because of a DUI -- suffice to say my confidence that he would be able to pitch as well as he did yesterday wasn't high

Here's the latest from ye olde rumor mill: Orioles dealing for Burnett <div />The Marlins last week approached the Orioles about a six-player deal that would send right-hander A.J. Burnett to Baltimore and Jorge Julio to Miami, The Miami Herald reports. The proposal: Marlins trade Double-A OF Eric Reed, OF Juan Encarnacion and Burnett to Baltimore for a starting pitcher (Daniel Cabrera or Hayden Penn) and an outfielder, most likely Larry Bigbie. Talks reportedly are on hold. Both the Seattle Times and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer are reporting that the Mariners could be close to dealing Bret Boone to the Padres. They have been in need of a second baseman without Mark Loretta, who isn't expected back until mid-August. Boone, who is in the final year of his contract, grew up in the San Diego area and played for the Padres in 2000 before coming to Seattle. I don't know where to find a link (of Powell) and I'm glad because I won't watch it
again. I could have swore he snapped his forearm on that pitch when I
first saw it. Apparently he tore up his elbow really bad which sucks
because he just got back from having Tommy John last year. Seeing the
pain on his face as he walked off the field was horrible.

I'm probably jinxing everything just by posting this, but the Cubs are hopefully snapping their latest losing streak as I type, leading the Cardinals at Wrigley 10-4 as they go into the top of the 7th.Apparently Lee got sick of slumping and has woken up today, jacking a 3-run HR in the 4th and then going yard solo in the 6th, giving him 35 homers for the year with 88 RBI's and putting his average back at .350.

Hey, alright!  Cubs win it, 11-4!  At this point, I'll be happy with two things...ending the season at least 5 games over .500 and having a winning record against the Cardinals.  Gotta aim low with a season this crappy...Maddux went long and pitched a complete game with 5 strikeouts...way to go, Maddog!

Here's one for the echo chamber...So the Cubs drive me nuts losing 8 straight, including getting swept by the Phillies and the fucking Mets...and then come back and take 3 of 4 from the Cardinals, wrapping it up 5-4 at Wrigley tonight.  Talk about peaks and valleys...Technically, there's still a shot, though I'm incredibly wary.  They're at the point the Astros were last year, and we all saw what they did.  If the Cubs offense continues to gel like it has during this series, they have a real shot, since their starters are typically good at keeping the opposing teams to 3-4 runs or less.  Between Lee, Aramis Ramirez, Nomar (hitting over .350 since coming off the DL) and Patterson (looking good since coming back from AAA this week, batting near .400 since Tuesday, stealing bases and beating throws, getting walked and belting a 2 run HR tonight), they finally have a potential threat of a lineup.  I really like Matt Lawton as the leadoff (batting about .275, also with a HR tonight), and Todd Walker can pull it clutch when needed.  Michael Barett is hitting at about .290 and taking walks left and right...and with guys like Neifi Perez, Jose Mascias and Todd Hollandsworth back on the bench where they're VERY strong (Check Jose's game-winning 2 run single tonight and Todd's chopper single), the bats are suddenly looking dangerous.And man, tonight was a PERFECT example of how they can make the bullpen work.  Mark Prior going 6 full innings with 3 runs and 7 K's...then Kerry Wood coming in and DOMINATING as a reliever for 2 innings.  I was very nervous about Wood having to come in as the setup guy, but he's been beautiful.  He averages a walk per outing, which is worrisome, but his fastballs are brutal, and he's shutting down innings with less than a dozen pitches on a regular basis.  He had 4 K's tonight (almost all hovering right around 100 MPH), and shut down the top of the Cards' order in the 7th with just 9 pitches.  While I'd like to see him get the cleanup surgery and start hopefully healthy, he's showing some serious closer skills in his 5 relief appearances so far.And speaking of the closer, Ryan Dempster is a heart attack closer if there ever was one.  The hasn't had a 1-2-3 9th inning in weeks, but he just pulled his 16th out of 18th save tonight.  It may be nerve wracking, but he gets it done.  Seeing Prior then Wood them him is damn impressive.  If Scott Williamson can stay consistent and Ohman a decent lefty specialist, the Cubbies may have solved their bullpen troubles for the time being, setting them up for a playoff run if it miracuously appears.So, yeah, talking to myself here, but damn, it felt good to see them win this series against those fucking Trash Birds.If they can keep this up and either take 2 of 3 against the Astros starting tomorrow, or, dare I say it, SWEEP 'em, then I'll seriously buy a drive for the WC.  At least Glendon Rusch is back as the starter for Rich Hill tomorrow.  As a reliever, he was hovering around 5.00 for an ERA, but stayed right around 3.00 as a starter.  He's shown he can go the distance a la Zambrano.Here we go Cubbies, here we go!!!*Clap-clap*<img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=TheMojoPin" border="0" /> Too drunk to dream... << Champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham friends. >> "You can tell some lies about the good times we've had, but I've kissed your mother twice...and now I'm working on your dad..."

Of course making the playoffs is ideal.  But when you do it 13 times in a row and can only seal the deal ONCE, you gotta start asking what the fuck is going wrong.  How many times do you need to run completely out of gas within sight of the finish line before thinking something isn't working?  The Braves are a VERY good team...their handicap is that during that time, they've only once been a GREAT team.  What's happening the other dozen seasons?And I'll stand by what I said.  I do prefer getting pissed over a team that blows it over a season with a bunch of ups and downs than one that'll cruise along no problem and then chokes without fail in the final stretch.  Where's the fucking fun in that?

So I guess by your rationale the early 90's Buffalo Bills were a great team as well.In my opinion to be considered great you have to win more than once. Kerry Wood is friggin' SICK as a reliever.  Threw his 7th inning tonight, shut down the 'Stros in just 9 pitches with 2 strikeouts for 12 total in his relief appearances.Maddux throws a nice one, going 7 full innings with less than 80 pitches (and this after a complete game in his last appearance), only allowing 3 hits and 1 run with 5 K's.Cubs tie up the series, winning 4-1.

Zambrano was PISSED barely missing that 3-2 pitch.  You take him out when he gets like that and he's pitched 144 pitches already.  They guy is too hotheaded to leave in that late and that angry...he would've tossed nothing but dead center heaters trying to strike 'em out swinging or maybe even plunked a guy.  And when you have a closer with Dempster's record this year (18 out of 19 save efforts), you give it to him.  Neifi Perez is more at fault than anyone for screwing up a routine double play resulting in NO outs.Ah well, at least they win it, 4-2.  Zambrano pitched a helluva game, striking out 10 and belting a HR himself.  Nomar rocked another homer, but left early...fortunately just with a stiff lower back.  Day off tomorrow, so let him rest up, and probably sit him on Friday, too.

So the Blue Jays finally get national coverage with an ESPN game (first of the year) and everyone is shocked that they can play.  In fact, (bc this is probably the first time anybody at ESPN watched a game without the Sox, Yanks or Cards) the Jays finally got on the web gem section of ESPN with four total and the top three.  Welcome to the whole fucking league ESPN!  Your overall coverage fucking blows!!!!!!  It's shocking that Wells, Hudson and Johnson are amazing to watch in the field, along with all the exciting young talent on this team.  And there are a lot of teams like this in the league, but we'll never see them.  The Brewers are one exciting up and coming team along with the Indians.  For shame, FOR SHAME!

And good point with the Brewers...they have the makings of a VERY good team over the next few years.  If the Cubs can get consistent and the Astros stay hot throughout the season, the NL Central might actually turn interesting instead of ye olde usual Cardinal blowout.

Chris Capuano has been good, Doug Davis has been good, Derrick Turnbow has been lights out at closer...plus they have an exciting line up of young players like Rickie Weeks, Lyle Overbay, JJ Hardy, Bill Hall, and Prince Fielder...plus Geoff Jenkins and Brady Clark have been raking this year...they are a good squad...and i was hyping them a while ago...

Mundo's right on with his post.  BC, the big difference is that the Rangers were in second place in the West at the time and ahead of Oakland and in the wildcard hunt (they were right on that line of do we dump salary or pick up players to make a run at this).  Now Texas is clearly out of it in both races, and may just be in it to dump the salary since they don't seem to have that much of a future together.  I'm sure they might still get something for him and surely will try, but it won't even be as much as the Twins offered back before the trade deadline.  If anything, it clearly blocks the bigger market teams all around them in the wildcard race.  With the DH in the AL, I wouldn't rule out anybody at least thinking it over.

Kent's response was surprisingly calm and lucid.  Not what I would have expected from a good ol' boy.  I don't doubt he's said some off-color stuff & gotten under Bradley's skin, but is there a bigger asshole in baseball than Milton Bradley?  You know, after Barry Bonds.

The thing about Bradley is that he really is a smart guy...the guy's a genius...I don't know what to think of this situation, but the Dodgers are going to have to move one of these guys eventually...This all goes back to that stupid ass deal DePodesta made last year...the team stinks and people are frustrated...

Let's take this for what it is, two assholes in a fight.  I think Bradley's the bigger asshole for playing the race card when it's obvious he's just trying to deflect the shit he was getting about his lax play.  I guess MLB is a racist organization based on the way Bradley was talking about the 9% black athletes in the league.  Well I've got news buddy, white isn't the majority either!  And guess what, I don't care who the fuck plays baseball, just give me the best players, period.

I haven't noticed, has Palmiero come back yet? I know his suspension is over for awhile but I didn't see much about him being back in the lineup. And I know Baltimore was holding him out after his suspension was over.

He came back a couple weeks ago...i forget who the Orioles were playing, but it was a home game, and he got a mixed reception...there were lots of boos, but enough cheers (for some reason) to kinda even it out..I didn't see it but I heard he got buried in Oakland...it was so bad the next game he was sat down with a mysterious ankle ailment...mysterious because he almost never misses games...

So Maddux pitches ANOTHER complete game...the guy is 39, yet keeps the Marlins to just 2 runs and 5 hits for 9 full innings...and the Cubs STILL lose it 2-1.  By my count, this shouldn't have been Maddux's 15th win, this would have been his 16TH if the rest of his team hadn't managed to blow games where he kept the opposing team to 3 runs or less and 5 hits or less for at LEAST 7 innings!  Absolutely inexcusable...this team simply cannot play fundamental baseball.  They live and die by the longball, and that's it.  Nobody who can get on base can steal or is told to steal, and the guys that CAN steal either aren't being allowed to play because they're rookies or they can't get on base in the first place.Dusty Baker can't manage his way out of a paper bag, yet it's looking all too clear Jim Hendry doesn't want to have to buy out yet another high priced manager, so the Cubs'll have Dustbag through next season.  I almost WANT them to fall into last place so it hopefully smacks the owners into gear into doing SOMETHING.  Looking for new management and coaching, upping the budget...ever since 2003, Cubs fans are sick of the "lovable loser" tag.  That shit isn't going to fly anymore.  Watching the last few home games, I'm actually seeing large gaps in the stands at Wrigley...something unheard of in the last 20 years, especially in late summer.  For better or for worse, people not pumping money into the Tribune through ticket sales no matter what the team's record might finally force the Trib to seriously re-evaluate how they want to run this team.And yeah, I'll never stop being a fan, but come on.  Quit dicking me around.  Don't make the same mistake LAST off-season and not replace the guys you lost or where you have holes.  As of right now, the ONLY guys who should be "safe" are Derrek Lee, Carlos Zambrano, Mark Prior, Aramis Ramirez, Greg Maddux and Kerry Wood (as a CLOSER a la Smoltz).  Everyone else should be potential trade bait if necessary.  They need a REAL leadoff hitter, at least one more all-star starter, a solid reliever (mayber switch current closer Ryan Dempster to the setup man spot in addition) and at least two GOOD outfielders, both on D and behind the plate.  SERIOUS rebuilding needs to be done starting NOW.Let Aramis stay out the rest of the season and heal his legs.  He's been playing injured for months.  With the post-season all but impossible.  Let him heal.  Let Wood get the cleanup surgery he needs first week of September as planned and give him time, then do ANYTHING possible to have him come back as a closer.  A $10 million closer is fine by me if he can be as lights out as he's been during most of his relief appearances.  Again, look at Smoltz.  Spent over 3 years as a fantastic closer, and then when he was healthy, went back to the starting lineup and is STILL amazing!  Nomar I actually wouldn't mind see back, but at 2nd and with no more than a $4-6 million deal (with incentive options if necessary).  Sit him NOW and let him heal.  His hitting since coming off the DL has been close to .400, but he's still too dicey on the field, especially since that pitch he took between the shoulders.  He's made it very clear he likes the team and the city and he wants to stay.  Get him cheap and let him heal NOW.Let the rookies PLAY.  Look around the league at teams trusting the younger players and having it WORK.  Again, LOOK AT THE BRAVES.  Let Matt Murton play LF and hit leadoff when the rosters expand in September.  Play Ronny Cedeno at SS.  Bring up Felix Pie in a week two and let him play center.  See what the kids can do!  Stop saddling the team with BENCH guys like Jose Macias and Todd Hollandsworth and look t the future!GAH.Alright, I'm done.  Sorry about the rant and the size of the post.  Just had to vent...

Not until his own fans can spell his first name correctly.Cubs grant me my wish and slap the Marlins, 14-3.  Lee rocked 2 solo HR's, putting him at 39 for the year with 94 RBI's so far and a .349 average.  Combine that with his fantastic defense, it's a damn shame he's not gonna get the MVP just for being on a crappy team.  If anything, it should make him MORE likely for singlehandedly carrying everyone else on the roster for most of the season.

Honestly, any one of the three deserve it.  They're just that good behind the plate and on the field.  The only thing I'd say holds Jones back is his overall hitting...no question he has the power, but he isn't as all around as Lee or Pujols.  And between Lee and Pujols, I'd say Lee is the better fielder...obviously, I'm biased, but any of these three guys winning it is fine by me.

(he's leading) and the RBI title (second to Pujols right now i
think) it would be hard to ignore him. Two of the triple crown
categories and of course the eventual gold glove.

The steadiness of Esteban Loaiza? The surprise great pitching of John Halama? The emergence of Nick Johnson as one of the best clutch hitters in the game? Many of you pointed out all of the great things with the franchise this year: Getting some stability, playing to some buzz in Washington, etc. But here's the problem, in the big picture -- the TV deal made in 2005 to placate Orioles owner Peter Angelos is devastating, and going forward, it's going to be a huge impediment. (And, by the way, executives with other teams say their farm system is scorched-earth barren, which is not a good sign for a club that might have financial worries). The Nationals, for me, are kind of in a special category. I agree with many of you that the Nationals are one of the best stories of this summer, but given the criterion, I don't think this year really serves them to build forward because of the parameters thrust onto the team: 2005 might be remembered, in part, as the year that the franchise had one arm tied behind its back competitively. Hey Ryan, I mean Mudo, could you link the original list of teams this guy selected.  I'd like to see his thoughts on other teams and see how he judged them all.  And Hawk, imagine how empty the Yank stands would be if they didn't field an all-star team every year.  Their attendance wasn't that great even playing in fucking NYC before their run, so big fucking deal.  To me, the wealth of the league is so thinly spread that the league as a whole blows right now.  I know it's the same old rant, but the owners need to stand up to George and state the case that the league as a whole is the product, not the well being of the fucking Yankees.  Why is it they can't look at the NFL and understand this?  Small market, big market, it doesn't matter who makes the big game.  I'm sure it lowers rev a little when a small market team makes it, but overall the league is more profitable due to the fact that all teams are just that and in great shape.  Baseball is the total opposite.  I'd love for there to be a huge shakeup of the league, and soon.  If not, they'll be losing a lot more fans, myself included.  I do appreciate dynasties, like the Patriots, something to be respected and marveled at.  Yet I have no respect for monopolies that should win year after year like the Yankees and recently teams like Boston too.  I do respect individuals on these teams like Mo, Jeter, Ortiz and others, but overall they are surrounded by so much talent that they don't have to perform, as there is always another all-star behind them.  Of course Jeter has a history of great plays at big times, so did every other Yankee, they're always in those big games.  Hell, Soriano, Sojo, Nelson, Wettland, Tino, Boone all have big plays too.  You have to get there to get your name out there.  And the only way to get there recently is to join one of the over the top franchises or have a great, huge and lucky year with a lesser team.  There are tons of great players who would outperform even the sacred Jeter if they were presented all the opportunity he was.  While Yankee fans are spoiled, the rest of us are not even an afterthought of the league.  MLB will take a huge hit if this and the steroid scandal continue to grow.  I'm so sick of both situations.  And how long will MLB dick around with the Expo/National situation?  Fix it for fucks sake!

My gripe is that there are too many teams.  Honestly, I'd be happy with 4 teams in each divison, and that's fucking IT.  24 teams total.  Things are spread too thin as it is.  Nonsense like California alone having four fucking teams has got to go.

So?  I said only two per STATE.  I don't mind things like Yankees/Mets or Cubs/White Sox...in fact, I wish Boston had an NL team.  A cross-city rivalry up there would be wonderful to watch in all of its horror.

Here's my ideal MLB situation...NL East:Braves, Mets, Phillies, Pirates (yeah, I know they're central.  They shouldn't be!)NL Central:Cubs, Cardinals, Brewers, RedsNL West:Padres, Giants, Dodgers...and then I'm stuck.  I want all expansion teams from the last 15 years gone.  And I want at least two of the above teams moved out of California.  Send one to Vegas and maybe another to Portland or something.  NO MORE CALIFORNIAN TEAMS!AL East:Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Blue Jays...though the Canada thing bugs the hell out of me.  They're in the AMERICAN League, dammit!  And NO, it's not "North America"...AL Central:White Sox, Indians, Tigers, Royals...Twins get the boot because they're the old Nationals/Senators.  And they're in Minnesota, a state so awful it drove Kirby Puckett to blindness.AL West:Stays as it is...Rangers, Angels, A's, Mariners...though like before, one of the Cali teams has to move.

Ricciardi, the general manager of the Blue Jays, a few days ago, and he was unequivocal: If Roy Halladay hadn't gotten hurt, Toronto would be leading the AL East. Considering all of the pitching problems that the Yankees and Red Sox are having, it's hard to argue with him.  Here's the other thing... Only eight teams will make the playoffs, and as of Sunday morning, 15 teams have a legitimate shot; seven will go home. For some of them, however, 2005 will be viewed as a year of progress no matter whether they play a post-season game. Ten organizations which will view this season as a success, no matter what happens in the last five weeks: 1. Atlanta Braves They're leading their division and, somehow, they've managed to develop the next generation of young players -- Jeff Francoeur, Brian McCann, Ryan Langerhans, Kelly Johnson, Wilson Betemit and Kyle Davies. Can't get much better than that. 2. Oakland Athletics After trading All-Star pitchers Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder, Oakland general manager Billy Beane didn't know when the competitive transition would come, whether it would be May or September of 2005, or sometime in 2006. Magic number for the Braves is eight so if they can win 4 or 5
of the last 12 they are a lock. Looking good but there is still a
chance they tank in the regular season for a change.  The
beauty of this home stretch is that every Cleveland win brings us
closer to what all of America is dreaming for......Either the Sox or
Yankees are OUT! Worst case scenario - Cleveland wins the
Central and the White Sox collapse. This is looking more likely every
