Went for my license today

<p>Today's my 17th birthday(hold the applause, LOLOL ROFL!!!)&nbsp; So its the big day, going for my license.&nbsp; You guys shoulda seen me out there, i had THE perfect speed, turns were perfect, i dont think anyone else has parallell parked better then me in the history of driving..and then...I turned onto the wrong side of the street.&nbsp; Just flat out made a left and turned onto the left side of the road.&nbsp; Now I knew when I did this that somethin was wrong, but in my extremely tired and nervous state i couldnt figure out what.&nbsp; I looked over at the instructor and she hadnt said anything so I just slowly continued moving down the road...on the left side.&nbsp; And then she's like &quot;Bill, just stop the car right here.&quot;&nbsp; And I knew exactly what i did.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>She said I was doing great and easily wouldve passed...had i payed some damn attention.&nbsp;&nbsp;I know i said i was tired and nervous, I was, but there is just no excuse for that.&nbsp; I suck.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Feel free to share any stories you may have of sucking on your road test.&nbsp; Take some of the blow away from me..please.</p>

i actually passed my test without a mistake when i took it, however the
girl who went before me, while she was parallel parking, managed to hit
ALL 4 cones, then drove away with one stuck in her wheel well, delayed
the test for 15 minutes while they remeasured the course and shit<br />

Yes it was rahway and not roselle park. Both of them were from Kenilworth, and took the test 1 day apart. There is a part of the course where I can see that mistake being made. I think it happens more than you would think over there.

<p>Yea, I took mine in Wayne off of 46 and passed 1st time too.</p><p>Not much of a story.....but on the way home, I killed an Eskimo with my bare hands.&nbsp; </p><p>And then vin Diesel punched Jesus in the face because he wanted to stop at&nbsp;Taco Bell, but Jesus just drove by like he had better things to do.</p>

Yea took mine in Lodi as well.&nbsp; It was such a joke there that the guy passed me as soon as he entered the car and sat down. He grabbed his board circled pass and told me to go and not do anything stupid and ill pass.&nbsp; I hit the curb on the parallel parking and hesaid and i quote &quot;Whatever i didnt feel anything, go&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was awesome.&nbsp; The guy before me ran the final stop sign like he just didnt stop at all it was really weird cause it was pretty clear.&nbsp;

Rahway is a set course.... make sure you go at night and practice, thats what i did..&nbsp; the course used to be open all the time for practice.&nbsp; when i went for the test it was someone else's car i had never used and on the parking on hill i couldnt figure out how to get the parking brake to unbrake.. what a dumbass..i was nearly shitting myself and i just hit the thing hard and it released.. i passed... maybe it was cause i had the test guy that looked like jesus.&nbsp;

<p>I passed mine the first time, but at one of the stop signs I didn't stop long enough.&nbsp; The car wasn't moving for like 1 second, and when I started to go again the guy told me I had to do it again.&nbsp; Also, the parallel parking was a bitch.&nbsp; The first time I set up all wrong, and I was like 2 feet from the curb, so before I finished, I asked if I could reset myself.&nbsp; He said ok, and the second time I nailed it.&nbsp; Best parallel parking ever.</p><p>Don't worry, man.&nbsp; You'll get it next time.&nbsp; </p>

<p>Right before my test the guy flunked the kid before he even started the test.</p><p>The guy came with his mom, she left him in the drivers seat with a running car, therefore the guy failed him for operating a vehicle without a liscensed driver in the car.</p><p>Now that blows</p>

<p>When I was taking my road test for the first time, there was a point that you get to this flashing red light at this intersection and you have to cross the intersection.&nbsp; I get to the light and stop Im looking both ways and waiting for cars to clear before I could safely make it across, and Im sitting there and getting nervous, because the instructor is like 400 lbs and breathing like Darth Vader.&nbsp; Im scared that I am taking too long to get through and I see a slight gap and start to cross the intersection and the instructor suddenly screams &quot;HE'S COMING RIGHT AT YOU!!&quot;, referring to the next car in the group I perceived in the gap.&nbsp; I get across without an accident, but&nbsp;the guy was like..&quot;Lets just go back, you fail...&quot;&nbsp; I rescheduled for the next test a few weeks later and get the lady and it went great and I passed.&nbsp; The same kind of thing happened when I was talking my CDL test and I was doing the test in a school bus and I misjudged how much space it would take to make a turn and I was almost about to hit a curb and the rule is, if your driving a bus, and you need to back up, you have to stop and get out to make sure no ones behind you. But it turns out it wouldnt have mattered because I had just failed because when I was making the turn, I was cutting off two lanes at a time and that alone would have failed me.&nbsp; She stood up and walked to the back of the bus and said it was clear and I backed up and she told me to drive to the beginning again, that I failed.&nbsp; I rescheduled the test yet again and like the other time, the second times the charm.</p><p>Nothing worse when the instructor screams!</p>

I got my license, I was with a buddy and I told him I was gonna run in
my house for a minute. I jumped out of the car AND FORGOT I LEFT IT IN
DRIVE!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!<br />
My brand new car went right through the garage door.</p><p>Another time
I was on the LIE, hit a patch of ice, and 360'd across three lanes (in
heavy traffic) went in circles from the left lane to the right
shoulder. And the weirdest part was I'm there, facing in the correct
direction, so I just kept driving. With my heart pounding a mile a
minute. <br />

<p>I passed on the first try.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I had trouble parallel parking but i didn't hit the cones so i passed. Also, ii knew the instructor's son so that was a plus.<br />
