So what exactly happened last night? I missed most of the show and only
caught the last half hour where they breifly mentioned that Keisha said
something that should have been dumped. Anyone have the audio?<br />

i miss giant brian. i feel like the show lost something with his departure. i thought he was a real funny guy and he kept things exciting. even though its only the start for keisha i dont think she will ever be as good or funny or creative as he was. even though ron calls him the second worst producer ever.

For those that missed it,some random caller said "Shit" at some point
in his sentences ,and it got out on the air. That happens on other
stations. Then Ron asked who should take responsibility?Keysha and a
guy(sorry forgot the name) were responsible for the dump
button.Suspension of either individual was discussed and the two were
talking about what they'd do if suspended for some time like 2
weeks.Keysha said she had just quit her accounting DAY JOB. A side-note
is that several sources say Keysha is pregnant. I suspect that her
hormones make for highs and lows from one day or week to the
other, which leads to elation and loss of groundedness,or the
reverse, mild depression which leads to self-doubt and low self
esteem.Ron was encouraging her to be more sure of herself.Neither Ron
nor Fez were too pleased, which belies what must go on behind the scenes
as a bad situation totally and this the tip of the iceberg. It's like
they were expecting the house of cards to crumble from a weak link in
the chain (to mix metaphors). My opinion is that Keysha "on-air" is
fine, but her as producer is premature at this point.Have you ever
worked at a job where they cut corners for cheaper labor rather than
paying to improve the operation using seasoned pros?It just adds to the
frustration of trying to do your own job when the support is
inadequate.I once quit a job as a truck loader for broadway stage
set-ups,since the dangers of the job itself multiplied when they
knowingly hired drunks who made serious mistakes and other workers got
hurt frequently.Ever had a leg broken by a stage-light falling on you
from 30 feet because some drunk forgot the safety wire tie?Boom goes
the dyn-O-mite.<br />

<p>Im surprised that so many people enjoy Keisha at all, not to mention miss Giant Brian. Maybe its cause Im an old school fan from the WNEW days but I miss the times when it was mostly just Ron and Fez talking with other people sprinkled in from time to time.</p><p>I guess Im also used to the guys just trashing their producers until they cried. Those times have a special place in my heart. Giant Brian made me giggle from time to time but over all I couldnt stand his la-ti-da attitude. He just sounded like he never really cared about the show. Love him or hate him Wonderboy wouldve jumped through a wall for the guys.</p><p>Keisha is an intern and she should stay an intern, Im not surpirsed someone like Giant Brian wouldve recomended an intern like Keisha to produce full time. He was on his way out, he didnt care when he was there why would he care when he was leaving.</p><p>God I hope they come to XM soon and just start fresh with the orange ball of failure either producing or just answering phones.</p>

And later on Mikey D used to tell all his show biz stories. I feel like they have always let other speak, its just more apparent now because of the lack of talent

My main point is that she seems to be somewhat underqualified and underexperienced to be running the entire show, and it shows a lack of leadership and ability on Cameron Gray and management's part to staff the Ron and Fez show with fully trained, experienced people during this time of transition with Giant Brian leaving. </p><p>WJFK didn't even put out an ad soliciting resumes for the gig.</p><p>The only acceptable excuse Cameron would have for 1) putting Keisha in a position she is seemingly underqualified for and 2) not even seeing what was out there - is that he knows that Ron and Fez are leaving rather shortly and he didn't want to waste the money or the manpower in getting a new producer for the show.</p><p> </p>

a person who sets up the prize table and drives the vans to appearances
- once her internship with R&F was over? THAT'S the progression an
intern should take. Intern - Part-Time - Full-Time. It's all about
paying dues and moving your way up the ladder.</p><p>The fact that
Giant Brian quit and WJFK didn't even ASK for potentially qualified
candidates to step forward for the Ron and Fez show and just inserting
an intern with FOUR MONTHS EXPERIENCE in the role of being the pointman
for the show is a huge jump. As Puck said, she's training interns while
running the show. What the hell?</p>

Replace truck loader with

Where you work for multiple radio stations? Oh, I'm sorry, you have zero radio experience.</p><p>Let me spell it out: I've worked three internships at three different stations, and two of them were WXRK and WNEW. The reason why I don't name drop that yes, I actually did promotional work for the Opie and Anthony show is that it's not that big of a deal.</p><p>After my internships, I worked as a part-timer for a CLUSTER of four radio stations in the Philadelphia area. I left that gig to go to a record label, and then I switched back to radio.</p><p>I now work full-time for a cluster of three radio stations. So I've had, total, two paying radio jobs in the span of six years, and I've been regularly working in radio and/or the music business since 1998, with the exception of a span between 2001 and 2002. That gap where I wasn't working in radio? Ironically enough, I was bartending at... wait for it... wait for it... a theme restaurant called TGI MOTHERFUCKING FRIDAYS.</p><p>Holla.</p>
