(i put 'helped' in quotes because it usually happens that they become addicted to religion after kicking the fun habit). if it serves as an unlikely rehab, all the better. if it doesn't work, well, that would be about par for the course for alternative sentences. i actually have a bigger problem with the ACLU. they're always preaching about separation of church and state, invasion of personal freedoms, etc. which sound great intheory, but their real agenda, it seems, is to eradicate religion from america. one big example comes to mind is something my freind told me about. the aclu wants to remove all religious paraphernalia from national buildings, parks, etc. as he put it, it means removing the cross from his father's grave. this doesn't sound very liberal. this sounds fanatic. did i go off the subject already?

I think the religious stuff is fine as long as it includes EVERY religious sect and there is a Rastafarian section. WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

The ACLU only fights for Reglion to be a personal option. Crosses would NOT IN ANY WAY be removed from graves, just from public spaces. Below is an example of how the ACLU fought for a religious student to have the right to express his religious beliefs in his yearbook entry.

After ACLU Intervention on Behalf of Christian Valedictorian, Michigan High School Agrees to Stop Censoring Religious Yearbook Entries
