Quicktime Question

Is there a simple way to convert Quicktime video to an mpeg or avi format?  Alternatively, is there anyway to reduce the size of a large Quicktime video file?

<p>By &quot;simple&quot; do you mean FREE? I actually still pay for all my software so, I don't know what the no-dough option is. </p><p>Pretty much any video editing program (other than the free Windows XP Movie Maker) should allow you to do it.&nbsp; Simply drag the (large) QT clip into the storyline...and select what ever format you want to compress it to.&nbsp; AVI, MPEG, WMV...whatever.&nbsp; </p><p>I have loads of expensive software but, I've made some serious money editing corporate vids for Pepsi and Xbox and all I use is PINNACLE STUDIO PLUS 9.&nbsp; Only 100 bucks and I use it for everything.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Also...if this is a one-off.&nbsp; Feel free to send me the video ( <a href="http://www.yousendit.com/">www.yousendit.com</a> ) and I will happily convert it to any size in any format.</p>
