Ctrl + Print Scrn captures you're desktop.<br />

<p>Use ALT+Print Screen to capture just the window that's open. Print Screen captures your whole screen. </p><p>If you want to capture a video you're playing in WMP, go to Tool>Options>Performance (tab). Under Video Acceleration, pull the "bar" all the way down to None (older versions of WMP9). If you can configure "Advanced Options", pull the digital video bar down to "none" and uncheck all the checked boxes. After you take the screen cap, you can restore these settings</p>
