I wonder how much I will need to drink over the next few days in order to handle the culture shock I will experience.

I went last year. There is a lot of stuff to buy...and a  lot of scary people.....there are jesus people....and everyone wants to hug you......thusly why i'm going to the horror convention this year.  Bruce Campbell and Doug Bradley are much more appealing.

I was at Otakon and had a table in the artists' alley.  Hung out
with my friends over the weekend, made some new business contacts, and
made a nice bundle of cash off the kids there.

I was selling 8 bit Nintendo Sprites made out of Lego.  I had
Mario, Link and Megaman on my table.  Also had 2 of my custom pcs
(Lego and Scout Trooper) on display.

Did you guys see this poster at the auction? <img border="0" src="http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/7930/otakatamari5pr.jpg" />  It sold for $400!!  Apparently the second most expensive thing to ever sell at the convention.Dude is selling posters of it for $10 now.  I am going to order me one and hang it on the wall. Another great cosplayer was a guy cosplaying The Tentacle cosplaying Vash. <img border="0" src="http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/2931/img16517zu.jpg" />  Wonderful!

I didn't see that poster (never made it to the auction area), but it's pretty damn cool. And
yes, there were lots of girls in school girl uniforms and even some in
their underwear.  Sunday morning I saw a girl in panties holding a
sign that read "I lost my pants."
