what the topic says.....she dumped me today..I feel like absolute shit now more than ever cause for some reason I saw it coming...What could I have done to prevent this from happening? Yeah this was my first true love...so it will hurt for a while...Could I love again? She said things just wasnt working out between us anymore....but i felt it happening since she didnt want to hang out with me or call me or anything...In some ways we just werent happy..she was just afraid to tell me how she felt and didnt want to hurt me....well she hurt me....alot

Yes, it truly sucks and it HURTS. Young love is a crazy thing.  I could throw around a hundred dopey cliche's now about fish and sea's and wounds and blah blah blah...The answer actually is a cliche'. "Time heals all wounds." It's going to be hard for a while. You will be lonely, sad, needing, but after a while, you get back into your own stride. You live for YOU for a while. Hang out with your friends, work out, read a few books, etc. Give it some time, then when you are happy with yourself, persue another relationship.When I lost my "First Love" I cried and moped around, but it got better pretty quick. ( I shudder to think what would have happened if I married the psyco!!)

erase her number from your phone and never pick up when she calls. Its the easuest way. If not, there is a chance you will get back together only to break up again for the same reasons you just did.  Sorry to hear about the breakup though. it def sucks. I went through it in college and it was HELL. do something to better yourself though. Join a gym and get in shape or something along those lines. hang with the guys and just enjoy life.

Hang in there dude.It took me almost 5 years to completely get over my first love.  She taught me how to love, made me feel really good about myself, about being with her and about life.  Little that I knew that one day she would push deep her claws inside my chest, pull out my heart and throw it to the street dogs to use as a chew toy.  Not to mention, keep playing head games after the breakup by giving me hopes that there was a chance to get back together, that bitch.  Nevertheless, the time I spent with her was most memorable and just for that, I would always wish well for her.Like everyone here said, don't let this get you completely down, make sure you socialize more and date other girls.  Coz if you don't, you might be missing out on something you wished you hadn't.Stoned!

Well its been a week since its happened and...I actually feel good. I got rid of everything that reminded me of her and done all I can to stop thinking about her. Most of the people I talk to that knew both of us think that she is the total bitch of the situation cause they claim that I'm a good person and there was no way i would hurt her in any shape or form.But again I would like to thank everyone who replied to this, as much as I thought I was gonna be wide open to bashings and such..it didnt happen here.
