Someone elses Backspacing technique

<p>I get seriously bothered whenever I witness someone else trying to eliminate a line of text and <br />they utilize a different technique then I do.&nbsp;&nbsp;For me, if I just typed a line or a few words that I <br />didn't want to type or if I spelled something wrong or whatever, I will simply backspace over <br />the&nbsp;undesired word.&nbsp; But if it is a sentence that I want to eliminate, I will highlight it with my mouse and it will automatically delete when I begin typing again.&nbsp; (Not by hitting &quot;delete&quot;, which also bothers me)<br />I cringe when I see someone, (usually women for some reason) who will use the <em>arrow keys</em> to get to the beginning of the line, and they <em>then proceed to hold down the delete button</em> and wait for the words or letters disappear.&nbsp; I find that totally ridiculous and it bothers me.&nbsp;<br /><br />Anyone else?</p>

I find that the highlighting and delete button is the only way to delete quickly on the board, but no where else.&nbsp; Im not a member, but Ive seen my brother use the O&amp;A board and I dont see any of the backspacing issues like this board has.&nbsp; <br />

<p>I was thinking more about this and wonder if anyone else who, upon seeing someone else do something (anything) that you ordinarly do, but who does it differently, does thier different way of doing it make you upset?&nbsp; I mean, at first your somewhat intreagued, as if maybe they have a &quot;better way&quot; than the way you do it, but when you see that it isnt any better, but to your perception is a total waste of time, or a flawed method. Obviously, with the backspacing thing, it doesnt really matter, as long as the results are the same, but it still makes me cringe.</p>
