Thanks to Reef for my sig. You rock. Love Your Grandson Frank

It's gonna be BAM, I crush his little skull and I sit down and smoke a cigar for another 55 seconds. The next kid comes in, BAM I put my cigar out on him. I laugh and point at the other kids "Who's next chubby?"

Actually, Chocolate truffles were modeled (by the French) after the
natural truffles found in Northern Italy. The French love to play with
shapes to make desserts. And have since evolved into the chocolate
covered lovelies we now have.

Truffles may be the worlds easiest dessert to make at home, if you like cooking.

2 parts chocolate (1 pound)

1 part heavy cream (1 cup)

Step 1) Bring cream to boil on stove.

Step 2) Chop up your chocolate into small pieces (so it melts easily) and add to boiling cream.

Step 3) Remove from stove immediately and stir until Chocolate is completely melted.

Step 4) Let cool to room temp. Roll into balls using a spoon or small ice cream scoop.

Can
be covered with chopped nuts, cocoa powder or coconut shavings. Waaaaay
better than the stuff you get in the supermarket.

Note-If you use white chocolate, reduce cream by 1/3

I'd have to agree, truffles are sinful. Creamy chocolate goodness.
Lindt was my first experience with chocolate. Unfortunately, diabetes was not kind enough to allow me to enjoy these all too often. I bake lindt milk chocolates into fudge and brownies. I can't eat the stuff, but it keeps my friends oh so close.
