Long time, no post or even browsing. Hi.

I figured since i have the need to vent, i'd do it here. No particular reason.

I've been type 1 diabetic and insulin dependant since i was 22. Before that i was always severly hypoglycemic except for when i ate specific things, then i'd be severly hyperglycemic. Since i was diagnosed with adult onset Type 1, the insulin has helped and i've been living a rather normal happy life. A few months ago, i was entered into a clinical trial of inhalable insulin. It has been working nicely *besides the obnoxious size of the equipment...* until a few weeks ago. I started falling into severe hypoglycemia *wound up in the hospital with a bloodsugar of 16 severe...it was 42 when i was taken from my house* I eat and eat and eat....still low. They pulled me off all forms of insulin last week. I still can't get my bloodsugar above 80 *i should be respectively at 120* I saw the endocrin. again, did all my tolerance tests, then he sent me for a ultrasound to see if i have tumors on the pancreas. Now....i'm 25. I already had NH Lymphoma. You say tumor to me, and i start editing out everything else you say to me because....well....that's just what happens. I have to go for some other test and another tolerance test in 2 weeks. So, cross those fingers with me.....THAT IT'S NOT A TUUU-MAHHHHH. I really shouldn't humor this.......

It's gonna be BAM, I crush his little skull and I sit down and smoke a cigar for another 55 seconds. The next kid comes in, BAM I put my cigar out on him. I laugh and point at the other kids "Who's next chubby?"
keep fightin the good fight, life is random in its twists and turns but sounds like you're doing the best you can despite that. judging from your post you can still sit back and laugh (hopefully hearing diabetic fez helps), and that's really great for your mental health
And as a good friend once said "it could be worse...it can ALWAYS be worse....you could be on fire...or have crotchrot........." Everything makes me giggle.
