Do you exercise?
What do you do to keep fit?
Do you run, lift weights, walk, stretch, or do aerobic stuff?

I use to walk a lot more, but I got lazy and stopped for a while. But I'm getting back into it slowly. I use to walk a LOT a few years ago; like 10 miles a day professionally. But kind of kept myself fit after I changed careers and can still walk far further than anyone in my family. I want to get back into shape and I walked tonite about 5 miles.

i joined a gym that's in my office building. i workout 3-4 days a week. i started in december. in that time i've lost 5 pounds. keep in mind i've not changed my diet at all. eating right is the key, but fuck it. at least i'm doing something.

I've got a treadmill at home and use that from time to time--but not nearly
enough.

I do so little now that its rather depressing. I used to belong to a gym closer to home, and I wish I had the motivation to use the gym here at school. I mostly do my walking either going to classes or other places; and when I'm home, I walk the dog once in a while ((we both should do that a lot more))
I lift 3-4 times a week. On school nights, I walk a couple of miles from the station to campus. I really need to get some more cardio going. Walking or riding the bike once the weather gets warmer.

I do 40-45 minutes on the eliptical. 30 minutes of a program thats on there and 10-15 minutes backwards using 3 resistance at the moment.

I go for a 30 minute walk (haven't lately though)

When the weather is nice I ride my bike.

Right now I use resistance bands for my arms instead of weights.

I do several different excersizes that I found on a website to work my abs and buns (hahah buns)

I want to re-join the gym so i can do a full body workout because at this point nothing I do is working because my body is so used to the routine but I can't commit because I can't afford it and plus I am unsure of where I'll be living come the end of the year. If anyone has any suggestions or websites with excersizes I can do at home I'd appreciate the imput.

In order to lose weight without changing your diet, you need to do over 250 minutes of cardio per week. The good news is you don't have to kill yourself, a simple brisk walk, or going half assed on the treadmill should help a lot. I get in to weights and then quit, I always wind up pulling something or hurting myself. If you do the cardio, and also keep your calorie intake to 2000 calories per day, you will certainly lose weight. But it is annoying to count the calories.

I go to the gym just about every week day at lunch time for about a half hour and lift as much as I can.

I go after work to the gym again for 40 minutes of cardio. Usually ends up being 2 or 3 times a week for that.

Weightloss is pretty stagnant but muscle gain in past year is great. Went from not being able to bench the bar to putting up 195. Yay scrawny little me.

been working out on the universal with my 15yr old daughter recently followed by 30-40 stomach crunches/leg pullups. the treadmill is the tough part, 7 minute mix of slow/fast/sprint... then it's 10 minutes on the oxygen tank

4 mile hike daily that includes an asskickingly steep hill. I get depressed if it rains or for some other reason I can't fit it into my day. I have a treadmill but the few times I've tried to use it I get dizzy and have actually walked into the basement wall.

4 Mile walk a day. Not the same as my route at post office (about 8) but it works. 10 pushups, 15 situps when I wake up. that's it. Plus my job is physical, so basically a workout unto itself. You dont have to go overboard, just be consistent. I eat whatever I want.

I actually did the OPPOSITE of what most people do...

My New Years Resolution was to work out a little LESS. And, to allow myself to eat sweets and stuff.

I work out every day. That means waking up at 430am. Everyday. (it's the only time I can really go) and I was always denying myself any treats of any kind.

I was tired of being sore all the time. The weakest guys I know are the ones with the great physiques. Their back hurts. Their legs are smoked. Or their guns are burned from doing so many reps (Ron Burgundy...I'm looking in your direction). I was so sick of being exhausted, sore, and obsessed with it. So, I backed off.

I still watch what I eat and I go to the gym two or three times a week. I still WALK every single day. At least an hour although, it's usually two hours. I listen to Loveline and go walking so, it's fun for me.

Another thing I do is, when I watch TV, I try to be active during the commercials. Stretch, clean the house, use the pilates mat & ball. Swiff or vacuum. ANYTHING to get off my ass.

As I type this, I am drinking a big glass of Aloe beverage but.... I did add some sugar. Babysteps.

Does anyone know how that ab work out works? The one that you lay down on and then lift up. The ab chair thing. I used it at a friends house once but I'm not sure if it has good long term effects.

Ive gotten results from good ole fashioned crunches
