I never even heard of Ron anf Fez before XM, so most of you guys have been listening longer but here a couple of my favorite R&F moments:*The guys are talking about how many how many 9 year olds they could beat up. A caller calls in and asks "How are you supposed to fight the nine nine year old when you have such a huge boner?" Ron calls him the sickest bastard alive.*When Skitzo Bill was in studio, i never laughed harder.

I've also only started listening since they came to XM also.I live in PST and try to time my travel times at work to listen in the mornings.I would just love to hear more replays than at 9pm.

also when their old producer from florida, i believe his name was tuttle, came to NEW and the boys sent him up to harlem the bronx and out to brooklyn. i was lol'ing all night.there are so many. anytime al dukes opened his mouth "i wouldnt save a drowning baby" i really had a man crush on him.

I like the 3 parter when Billy went on the John Edwards show and Ron & Fez had
the audio from it and just ripped him apart in studio. Some of the funniest bits
ever have Billy Staples involved.

look for some shows titled Trapped... there was Part1 and Part2   Gvac was judging the best Trapped story and Heckler was in studio as well.  I called in and got a good laugh going with a 'tackle football' story... Ronnie was especially funny on that night...    i think it was 2001ish 2002ish

One bit I that I thought was hilarious was when Ron and Fez quizzed Earl on which black female celebrities he would sleep with.  Even Joe Poo was funny!

Definitely the "Dr. Kim" bit.  They had an asian women call in to talk about Chinese new year andIris, Andre and Kenny got on the phone.  She was getting so mad because Kenny Allen kept saying he would get a robot horse (it was year of the horse, or whore as Iris had said), anyways they went back and forth and the women was getting really mad, and Ron tried to calm her down by telling her they were having a roundtable discussion on the topic.  I don't know what it was about that comment, but I lost it and actually pulled the car over to hear the rest of it.

name of Nut and another with the name Dick.  Is this in the file

I started another thread about this years ago, at the tail end of the 'NEW days. You could tell things were going to be ending soon, so I got a little down and started reminiscing. These, then, are my top 5 bits from the 'NEW era.5. Jesus vs. Ganesh - The back and forth between the two of them was so perfectly executed. When Ron said he wanted to see Ganesh vs. John Tesh, I vomited I laughed so hard. 4. Kids Fight Club - This was back in the .com days. It lasted for a while. I was a regular listener already, but it really was the bit that made me understand the treat I was getting by hearing the show. Every once in a while you'll hear a "callback", I think they say in the business, to this; someone will say something about a kid just laying down on his back and kicking. 3. Al pees his pants - You know he would appear on here somewhere. What a moment in Ron/Fez history, just hilarious. An, ice tea, was it?, drinking contest that ended with Al wetting himself. It was brilliant they made him drink all this tea then wouldn't let him leave the studio. I can still, plain as day, hear Ronnie's reaction, "Oh, you sick bastard!" 2. Producer Hill - The show was winding down. Ron, Fez and Joe Poo took us on a tour of the hill, cataloging the remains of former producers (mostly) of the show, Vietnam style. I say mostly because there were other people  thrown in as well. "There's The Fabulous Sports Babe" Dukes' former employer. From the background Doors music, to the whispered "seeyuhs" and "this duck still 'live" at the end. Perhaps the most inspired bit of radio ever, if not for . . . 1. "Hello, this is Rutger." - It was at the end of a double shift week, a Thursday night if I remember correctly. R and F were punchy. Anthony, 'the coffee machine guy' was sitting in. Rutger was also a little off, after a long flight, so he claimed. It was just one of those cosmic events where everything lined up. From Fez's feat of strength carrying the cart rack, to the walk out, I sat there, slack-jawed, just completely in awe of what I was hearing. I was too amazed even to laugh, even though I knew it was funny as hell. I have this saved and bust it out every couple of weeks. It stands up, it really does. Absolutely brilliant.

The night, I believe, they were trying to get Earl to pick the cotton from the jar of aspirin, someone, and I believe it was Earl said something about the Underground Railroad. Ronnie, "Yeah, my father used to call it the N Line, buuuuut those were different times. It was a different time, Earl, that's just the way he was raised."It was really the first time Ron worked this joke, he's used variants since, but this one was just so hysterical and the timing was awesome. It was perfect.

My recent favorite was: 2955- 1/24/06 - Acid Talk - January 24, 2006 - to prepare Fez for his bet with Elfish, Ron simulates an acid trip I must have listened to this ten times in the last three weeks. I lose it every time I hear Ronnie reference Elfish’s "wolf-like" or "badger-like" features and tripping with Dr. Zaius. When Fez worries about going to jail, Ronnie tells him "You going to jail is like any of us being locked in a whorehouse." Classic!

when ron & fez did the gay super hero bit... i almost fainted i was laughin so hard!  ...and i drive a semi! it was esp funny when they first did it when they were talkin bout comics and super heroes andfez went into "remembering" who his fave super hero would be and they faded into the gay super herobit.  even tho EARL almost ruined it by leavin dead-air before the bit.  still hilarious.  ron sayin "...the horror! the horror of man-rape!!" with the sounds of fezzie moanin and ooohin and aahhin and assfuckslappin noises in the background!  priceless!  fez is gr8 in the bits and improv with his timin and inflections at the right places.   i just started listenin to them too when they started at xm...  cept for catchin a few times briefly while drivin in the northeast in the ol' days back in the late 90's/early 2000's. i'm addicted now. always been a radio fan and afficianado... o&a and r&f r the best i've ever cum across!!

One of my favorites has to be back at WNEW, Al Dukes is duct taped and is forced to eat mayonaise and ham (not really sure of the exact food). Eventually, they throw him out of the studio and he lands right at the feet of Judas Priest lead singer Rob Halford. Halford was waiting in the green room to be on with Eddie Trunk and for a minute thought someone had hand delivered him a duct taped man as if it were his birthday. My all time favorite was when Billy Staples was telling how his friend the comedian/magician had died and the boys and Harry riffed on that for a while ("Did they saw the coffin in half?", "Did the priest go long?"). That led to a discussion of what heaven would be like. Billy thought you could drink as much as you want there ("That would be heaven"). Ronnie started talking about "pie heaven" where there's nothing but pies. And Fez responds in the most sincere voice "I love pie heaven."

There's been so many completely hilarious moments on the show, but
one of my all time favorites is when Iris from Bay Ridge called in with
a spy report.Some maniac with a gun had just been arrested on
the White House lawn (I think it was 2001) and Iris called in
exclaiming "This just in: Nixon has been shot!"I don't know why,
but it was the funniest thing I had ever heard on the radio and I
actually had to pull over because tears were streaming out of my eyes
from laughter.

Comedy Pyramid from the WNEW days, they were looking for a catch phrase for the new TV show about a former cab driver turned cop called Hack.  Female caller..."Double Parked for a triple homicide".  Favorite XM moment is when Schizo Bill calls Ron "crazy".

Schizo Bill calling Ron "Crazy" got me too.I liked the whole DAY Bill was on Both shows. Ron does great interviews when he gets someone he can spin circles around,like a boxer. Today he told Dave"I got a sattelite up in fuckin space." His tough guy Philly scrapper/scrapple-eater voice kills me sometimes.Dave 's voice was reminding me of 60's dweeb tv kid Herschel...and I'm sure 3 of you remember.

The discussion about wiping, Al pissing his pants, Billy's speech about about fecal matter, Ron's "The Ron and Fez Players" line after Lenay started crying when Billy reenacted the Stalker Patty wig repo.For me one of the funniest moments was during a "Fastest Hour in Radio".  I was at work listening to the show with headphones on.  Ron goes to Fez "Fezzie, I was thinking of getting you a pair of pants for Christmas.  Are you still in the size 48 range?"  Normally, Fez would say something like "Rude and Rude!" but even HE was unprepared for that line and just cracked up.  Maybe not the funniest moment but it's just a good example of why I love these guys: clever wit and great timing. Every time I think about this I just remember this cracking up like an idiot and my co-workers wondering what the hell was wrong with me.

I just remembered a great comedy pyramid.  It was a caller-made pyramid (at least R&F called it that) when Jeffrey Jones (Ferris Bueller's Ed Rooney) was arrested for some pedophile-related activity.

A recent bit that keeps running through my head is the Pippen-Bin Laden comparison and I crack up when Ronnie says laughing to himself "You know, it looks like Bin Laden would actually have a fucking touch with his shot"And Mikey, if you can dig up any Asian mockery, I'd be much in debt.  I think its the greatest juvenile impression in radio!

Are there even pics avail of Lobster Claws lady? I enjoyed thos clips played several times each all morning.Priceless.  **** Billy,tell us how you feel listening back to those clips.Are there any high or low points in that day's events that really stand out for you?     Also,I couldn't find my own clip of a year ago my 15 mins on R&F.Can someone tell me where it is or send it to me if it exists? <a href="mailto:j.lehane@verizon.net">j.lehane@verizon.net</a>        This will come in handy if I ever get asked to call in again for a Mars update......that would have to be a real slow day....like when they come back from vacation.

I'm pretty sure one of my top if not all time R&F moments was from a little over two years ago or so when they were on JFK and it was Fezzy's birthday (the fun one, not the 'you never cut me any slack' one).  and so anyway, there was this brief moment in the last segment when fezzy was wasted and doing Rick Flair impressions and Florida weather anchor impressions, and at one point he bursts out with something, i think it was in his Rick Flair impression, that literally made Ron laugh so hard that we heard his 'actual' or 'real life' laugh, and he totally lost it and had to apologize through his laughter which was rendering him incapable of speech.  it was for some reason not only a really funny moment, but it was also really touching, because it was for a brief moment, two best friends making each other laugh in a really genuine, candid, and sweet way that would normally only be possible under real life conditions and settings, and that we otherwise wouldn't see.
