I've been on twice.  I called during the bit about infomercials to
talk about the "Magic Bullet Blender" infomercia and then a month or so
ago when Fez was talking about how he gets a recurring fear of death
when he's sitting in theaters.

I have only gotten through once since they have been on XM. I have tried to call a few times but the lines have been busy.  When in DC I used to call more often or swing by the studio.

I used to call in in DC when they did comedy pyramids.I thought it would be the same when they first came to xm, but I realized the show was different.  Not necessarily better or worse, but just different.  I don't want to call just to call, so I hold back.I have called in a few times recently, but I only did it when I KNEW FOR SURE I had something funny to say.  Ron's sense of humor is a lot like mine (I'm sure many people say that), but I think I I know when I think he would approve.  I could care less what Fez likes.All in all, maybe a dozen or so times?  -------and the R&F number IS in my phone-----

I've never called in. But I IM'ed Ron once and he read it. Highlight of my life.Ive also been in studio twice. First for X-Files trivia (came in 2nd place), then I came in to discuss the jeopardy contestant test and ended up talking about the Death Penalty.I say its time I get invited back! ...no idea why, but my public demands it!!! I only had two short calls when they were on JFK. I've had several IMs read on air when on JFK. My favorite was when they wanted to call a hotel in Nigeria (or some other African country), and I sent them the link to the yellow pages there. Ron called me a "young guy who helps us out". I was happy to be called young.It was also fun during the short-lived attempt at having a R&F AOL chat room toward the end of the JFK days. Ron and Giant Brian used my "Snowman" name somewhat mockingly several times one night. It cracked me the Hell up! I can't remember exactly what it was about, but they wanted the opinions of the chat room people on some song (or something) that was sent in by a listener (I think). Someday, I'll actually listen to the XM show live, instead of my recordings of the show. I just can't get motivated to listen from 11AM-2PM. I've been anxious to call the XM show, lately.

IM's from me used to get read all the time back in the FM days.  Now...I can't really listen live so, I don't really participate.I have called in and made it to air several times with a short story and, once, was actually "interviewed" by Ron about a topic for several minutes.  Good times.

One thing I miss from the old WNEW days was the ability to send Instant Feedback to the boys through their web site.  I'd use a name that fit in with the bit and they had no way of knowing who actually sent it.  I was everyone from "Bluto" (to Fez's "Popeye") to "Swati Patel."

just sit there and feel like if I add anything it will come off as
stupid and like I will set myself up for a huge fall and get tooled on.
I feel like I'm imposing in a way and I don't want to break up the
brilliance that is Ron and Fez. I still to this day feel like a
superfan who is just coming off as being annoying. I don't want to get
to that point either so I just stay quiet and out of the way. As much
as I am told "yeah, they love you!" and all that, maybe it is my lack
of confidence tha keeps me from actually believing it. I'm weird like
that.  But regardless, I will still drop in on my monthly to bi-monthly basis.

I was a frequent caller under my real name, not spoon for some reason (maybe a few times though).  Loved the comedy pyramids and hit some highs in there from time to time.  Once during the Olympics 2012 themes I went right after our very own Hosp and pulled off the very tough "I've got two"!  Fez said it was a risk, then I cracked them up and Ron said he had a good feeling I could pull it off.  I actually taped lated when I heard it starting on a best of.  So order copies now! As far as in studio goes, I've been in house a few times.  Once as a part of the CAPO days, and it was great.  Next, I brought in all the hockey shit and helped out with the Asscapades show in which the boys had a hockey shootout with the winner being the only one not shot with paitballs.  Of course, Wonderboy got shot just as much anyway, while Mikeyboy never took a hit.  I wonder if that would happen today.  This just motivated me to get my ass in gear and pick it up during the XM days, but I've only been listening online to the replays and on DirecTV so far.  I rarely hear the show live now.  I can't since I'm working in hospitals all day.  Perhaps the new units will change it for me.

i went in with just jon and some others  a few years ago for sweet melissa's bday.  i didnt contribute anything whatsoever, except that ron & fez were amused by my board name, but it was just great to take it all in and observe.  they hung out with everyone after the show, and it was definitely a highlight in my life.  and then, later that year, jon was in with some others for the last show before christmas break, and he professed his love to me after ron and fez let everyone in the studio give out holiday wishes and whatnot.  he got a lot of "faggot"s in response :(

I was on last May.  I was one of Guys from Jersey who camed to visit and turned off the lights as the show started.  I was the one who fez was talking to during the break when the mikes were left on that same night.  I was in DC for business and stopping by the show,  and going to Friday night lights afterwards was the highlihgt of my trip.

I called in once, during a Paul O segemnt where they were talking about K-Pax. My line was "Your Oscars alone were with the trip, GEE GEE GEE!" I got Fez to laugh, decided that there was nowhere to go but down and retired from call-ins.EDIT: I forgot, I also called in during a discussion about movies everyone love but you hate. I said The Usual Suspects and Ron was so disgusted he hung up immediately. I should have stuck to my original plan.

For me personally, the most interesting thing about the Ron and Fez show and my time in the studio and interacting with the people there is not what I gave to them, (pretty much nothing) but rather, what they gave to me.  I still point to a short five minute off-air conversation with Al Dukes to be a massive changing point in my life. I was also very naive and learned a lot about people.  It was better than the lesson taught at the end of G.I. I was fortunate enough to be asked to come in as a CAPO and went with fellow CAPO and my buddy Grim Sanity.I wasn't on air or anything.  It was just great to see the boys doing their thing in person and to get a quick picture with them.  I've called into the old WNEW show a handful of times.  I'm more than happy being a fan only and discussing stuff on their messageboard.  Best show EVER!!!

I've been to the XM studio once and was briefly on the air, and one week later they played the mock show where they called me out of bed on a Sunday morning to test the phones. Infrequent caller but frequent IMer, e-mailer and visitor during WJFK days. The studio is so close, I was encouraged to stop by if I could, so I did. If I ever got on air, I was more concerend with not shitting the bed instead of saying something interesting or funny. Some of my favorite times visiting were when I wasn't ever on mic but might be asked to help with something for the show (holding Stalker Patty's mic when she sang comes to mind). Just able to watch "Iris," "Andre," "Jan Brady" was one of several personal highlights. My onair name has kind of morphed into Carlton the Doorman (from Rhoda) or Vera (from Cheers), where I get more play from shit I supposedly say or do off the air than on - I kind of like that role, and for the most part I still get a childish giggle if I hear my phoney name referenced out of nowhere.

I was in studio on the WJFK show August 13, 2004 the day after the Dave & Buster's event. Ron was nice enough to invite me and my chick on the show after I mentioned I had come from Cleveland to see them. Mikey D and Lenay were in studio as well as Halloween Goddess. One of the coolest experiences of my life. I've also called the WJFK and XM shows many times.

I've been on 3 times. The first they mis-pronounced my name and I ended up being dead air. Another time I called was when Fez and Elfish were arguing about the bet being a push and I explained the Nevada rules for a push.I was to messed up to remeber the 3rd.

I'm still too much of a nervous nelly to call the show, but I did make a largely forgettable appearance on the show in early November 2005, a couple days before Fez's heart attack. I was initially just going to drop by to say hello to the fellas, but as the theme music was swelling, Ron instructed me to take the third mic chair. Absolutely terrifying. Witnessing my heroes in action left me a little too flummoxed to contribute much. Furthermore, I was extremely jetlagged from the flight (the show starts at 8am for us West Coasters and I'm far from a morning person). Ron made frequent reference to my exhaustion. Those who have been to the XM studios understand how surreal the place is. I required a two-hour drinking session with Mikey Boy to decompress from the experience.

I was in studio, during the WNEW years, for the Ultimate New Yorker Contest along with four other contestants.  We all had to answer a series of five trivia questions about New York City.  It was basically a glorified version of the "You Know You Need Unique New York" game that they played for a dinky prize closet gifts, except this game was sponsored by some dot com and had a $10,000 grand prize.  I didn't think I stood a chance because all of the other contestants had lived in NYC their entire lives and I'm a born and bred New Jerseyite. Lucky for me these people were mildly retarded.  I wound up winning the $10,000 which I think might still be the biggest prize Ron and Fez may have ever given out.

Gvac was judging the contest and Heckler aka Blowhard was in studio. I told my story and then ron and fez mentioned a few similar scenarios. I came back with something funny and there was a pretty nice laugh going on. Then when Gvac began to lay his verdict i said "hey Gvac, it's Funkman" and he said "oh hey Funk" and i heard Heckler in the background say hello.  Then Gvac told me my story blew and told me to get the fuck off the radio.   NAH i'm just kidding. He was cool and said my story reminded him of a game "steer the queer" and he was gonna keep another incident as top trapped story. then i thanked them for their time and fez said "thanks G"...WNEW or WJFK -not sure?> i called on another 'Things Not Allowed In South Carolina' show. I was originally gonna say "people with blue necks" but i went with "all Ned Beatty movies except Deliverance" then i let out a SOOOOWEEE. yeah it was kind of lame. i think i got a little dueling banjos soundbyteXM> recently when they were asking for "bands bigger than Stones" and who would be a good Super Bowl band i called in and said " how about one of the local Detroit bands Grand Funk Railroad?" then they played the intro of American Band... yeah i spanked it

I've called in three or four times, and sent numerous IM's which have been read on the air. I haven't been on the air, though I've called in. Usually just as I'm about to go on the air someone comes on saying the exact same thing so I just hang up. As far as being in studio on the air, never.

I've been in studio once to drop off some gifts for the boys.  I tried to call in for a comedy pyramid once, but never got through.  I've e-mailed Ron a couple of times during the show with some facts when callers got things wrong or the support staff wasn't providing info fast enough.I just remembered that I also got Bobo to call in with a joke of mine.  When Elfish wanted Fezzie to pay up, I suggested Bobo call in to re-play of his from last spring.  Unfortunately, the joke bombed hard.  Sorry Bobo.

ive called in twice....first time was very near when the show started, they were talking about the NFL so i called in and said how i thought the detroit lions were gonna have a great season....second time i called was recently when Fez was talking about his earwax problem and I told him how i accidentally jabbed myself in the ear with a q-tip while cleaning
