talk about having your ass left hanging in the breeze, scary!... reminds me of that tram in italy that crashed to the ground when a jet flew too low and cut the cable

I just saw it on the news, boy are those things just swinging in the breeze. I'm guessing Fezzie is taking the subway to work tomorrow.
I blame Green Goblin

6 hours so far and they've only rescued about 20 of 80 something
people. They say it may take all night to get them all out.

I think fezzie is out his window, watching all this, clutching his chest.

this lady is back to the ground level and is too scared to get out. They have 2 baskets, one as a backup, but they wont just use both

this is so stupid

I had thoughts of Fezzie being on one of the Trams yelling:

"Ronnie, get me off this tram."

And Ronnie saying:

"I'm coming budday."

Then Ronnie sees that Scores is right there, and tells Fezzie to hold tight while he goes in to get somethings.

On Oand A this morning they played a news report stating that one of the first thing rescuers brought to the people trapped was diapers. Yuck

I'm wondering why the rescue effort took so long to start. The tram stopped at 5:20pm, the rescue didn't start until 10pm. Considering this isn't the first time it has been stuck, who is running it and why don't they have a more efficent evacuation plan?

They were able to move them a little bit, but that failed.

The media keeps noting how the tram has been in service since 1976, has had several technical problems, and there are few with knowledge on how to service them.

So... why are they still being used?
