I Hate These Times

<p>One of the things I have hated the most about O&amp;A from their firing to the rumors prior to them going to XM to Ron and Fez leaving WNEWS/WJFK to going to XM, to now this news is that it always seems to bring out the absolute worst in people. The rampant threads, the trashing of both shows on various boards, the posters who come out of the woodwork to rip on a show they hate or whatever, basically the pure negativity that comes out is what I hate. While we all want to know what goes on with whatever our favorite programs it no doubt sparks heated arguments over talent and who deserves what and it really sucks. </p><p>I say this because I have been encouraged of late by the return of a lot of older posters and some great new folks who have joined the board that things seem to be returning to being fun again, at least for me anyway. I just hope that things don't get all crazy and people get turned off by what discussions will happen until everything dies down. </p><p>I just hope that things stay civil.</p><p>(Note this is a confession and I think belongs here, it's not necessarily a radio discussion)</p>

<p>I personally love these times.&nbsp; Heat on the show, lots of talk, but the speculation gets out of hand from time to time.</p><p>It's the &quot;Don't know whats gonna happen&quot; shit that pisses me off.&nbsp; When O&amp;A were in talks and the MONTHS of agony we went through with Ron and Fez, that fucking sucked.&nbsp; At least we know most of the facts in this story, and we know no one is getting fired.</p>

Bottom line is I hope this works out well for Ron and Fez, I can see where it might, but I am having a very hard time shaking my concerns and it's actually bumming me out too much.
