Not too long ago someone with some 'Get go" started a campaign and blog to fix the phones.  I think I linked to it somewhere on one of my links.It's obvious no one gives a fucking shit about the phones, and they think it's perfectly acceptable to have a national talk show's phones go down everyday, multiple times, without fail.

My idea was going to the dollar store or garage sales and finding as many old wired phones as possible, and mail them individually in to XM, addressed to different big wigs at XM.

Quick question... have you ever worked in marketing, or been a part of a large scale marketing campaign?Secondly, have you ever worked with someone like a VP who has personal assistants that open their mail for them?Yes...and yes...and Perry and Mikey are right.Nothing will be done about the phones until XM really feels a need to make R&F happy - in the short term, if the show is in need to find a "work around" and keep the flow going, then get them hooked up with IMs. In DC the IMs filled in the gaps when there weren't enough calls coming in; maybe play Perry's song no more than once every show, or every other show, and keep it off the air the rest of the time, and just go to the IMs to keep the pyramids going until the phones get back up. It seems like a lot had been kept off the air before, and maybe they finally got fed up at pretending things were kewl, so it may be a non-starter. IF the phones never come back up, then punt, but at least the IMs open up some communication with the listeners.Someone, other than someone in D.C., should call around to other radio shows and find out the system these stations have - get names of NY contractors and companies. Get some names themselves, and do an impromptu bidding out for it - take that number to XM and say it will cost X-Amount to get the problem solved and that the problem will be solved by a specific date. Stop relying on Wicki and especially E-Lo to help give a rat's ass; they fucking know the answer they will get when they call or e-mail Washington HQ. Pull the shit together, make it is easy on them (both R&F and XM), and just do it.

Yeah, but..Those fuckmasters in DC have to realize that the 'OnA replay' and 'RnF live' show, represents XM's morning show on the west coast...  If they ever want to get real subscribers out here, they gotta throw the west coast a bone and start supporting RnF every way possible.Leaving the west coast to feed on the skids of the turd bowl is kinda short sighted in my opinion.

The thing that's worthless about this is that they've said, time and time again, that it's a trunk issue.  Which means it falls to the phone company, not XM. We already knows the building hates the XM Tenants. Perhaps this problem is even out of XM's control right now.

Yea, Ron said he doesn't want us doing that for sure.  Now if he meant "Please don't do that" or "I want you to do it but officially on the air I am saying no" we're not sure of.I say, if you're annoyed at XM treating Ron and Fez like this, let them know.  I'll gladly be a part of any organized assault on whoever needs to hear us.
