I owned a roady 2 and I would use the portable set up to listen while out walking my postal route. Well about 2 months ago I was walking the route listening to Ron and Fez. I was walking up a flight of stairs and missed a step and busted my ass pretty bad. I slammed the concrete elbow first and finally landing onto my ass where I had the portable set up in my back pocket. Not only did I leave a huge bruise on my elbow but my roady 2 was cracked beyond recognition. I was pissed off and hurting, but I got off my ass and finished the route. Fast forward 2 month and I still haven't replaced my xm radio. I just don't have the extra funds to buy a whole new set up. I truely miss hearing Ron and Fez. I haven't heard a full show this whole time. I can't even catch replays on my computer because its way too late to listen. If they replayed the show from 7-10 or even 8-11 I would be able to hear the boys but unfortunately they don't. But besides not hearing Ron and Fez I miss having the xm in my car. Regular radio is God awful! I would be able to tool around the xm station and find something, even a cheesey guilty pleasure toon I could listen to. I'm bored in my car these days. There's only so many times I can listen to my cd's.

Ugh I hate being a cluts!

Hey,  Look into xm411.com. Go to there message boards
and see if they know of any special offers for a cheap radio. I know
there is a place to buy a cheap used mifi for about 60 bucks or even
less. Or even try ebay. They have use stuff for cheap too. 
  
Or try contacting old R&F..thy might help ya out. Your a regular on the show..I'm sure they would help. Good Luck!!

I think it was xm411.com that they were selling roady2s for something like 10 bucks a monthor so ago.

I have a rodey2 I I will sell it for $50 with the car setup and the home unit. It also still has about a mounth of service left on it.

I have the service still, I have the car set up. I just need the unit and the portable set up. I can just transfer my service to the new unit. Right now I'm paying xm radio to maybe catching an hour of Ron and Fez on my day off. For that hour...its still worth it.

1st off, Im sure you realize that having headphones on or any listening device while carrying tha mail is against all regulations and is grounds for dismissal.  2nd if you were caught getting hurt while breaking these rules you would definitley be dimissed.  and 3rdly...Who cares bro,FUCK THE PO and their jackass rules!  I do the same thing with my MYFI while carrying my route...lolIts the only way i can get thru the day listening to a little O&A then getting pumped for 3 hours of the BOYS!  They so re-charge my battery out there.  People muust think Im batshit crazy as walk and sort the mail while cackling like half a retard...Watch your step brutha and get yourself a new XM Pronto!  Be safe and step careful...

I have a Roady2 and MyFi I don't plan to ever use again. You can have them if you want. The Roady2 only comes out of one channel when hooked to surround and the MyFi has a slight problem with the headphone jack, but works good most of the time (fuck delphi).

Yo P man..you only cant smoke weed unless you plan on bogartin that bong my brutha....USPS is run by a bunch of Fucktards who dont have a clue about knowing what the people want.  They make rules that piss the public off more and more each year.  Im lucky that my glowing (read bullshit) smiling attitude with the customers on my route, makes me quite the fan favorite in town.  I tell them what they want to hear, and dont mind doing the little things (like not leaving their shit out in the rain, paying for a little short postage, and other shit which is basically kissing their ass for the the Xmas bone) to make them dig me.  Anywho, enough postal talk, it makes me ill.  Congrats on the new XM, these people on this board are not only hysterical and witty, but it looks as though we can add giving to the list too..  You all rock!  Seeee yaaa

Ahh thanks man, thanks everyone thats given me suggestions, but thanks mostly to Fallon who is sending me his roady2 and mifi. Youre the man dude.So I appreciate everyone wanting to send me there old xm's but I'm back in the game starting Monday!!Fallon rules!
