I didn't even know there were jobs out there in which you could disrespect your bosses and co-workers 70% of the time, and act like a general incompetent the rest, and not be summarily fired.If I find out that young Mr. East Side Dave makes more money than me, I think I may kill myself. Painfully.I just don't understand how he can still have a job. Anyone else befuddled?

I find him merely frustrating to listen to. It might be funny once a week, or every other week. But at this point, it feels like there's almost an hour of show a day devoted to showing the world how idiotic this boy really is.I'd rather listen to Ron and Fez talk about child abuse, stem cell research, religion, the many species of cacti, ANYTHING. Ron always hates it when 13 year olds get through on the phones, yet he has one on the show. Did you hear how ESD was giggling when Ron was explaining about the restaurant incident?Anywho. I don't hate the guy, I just want to hear less of him and more of the boys.

I love Dave and I loved the Dave 3rd wheeling the Anniversary story and the Dave Bad Gossip story. Just hilarious.  If Ron and Fez agreed with you, ESD would be long gone...They find him funny and they think his contribution adds to the show. Not that you're wrong to not like it.  It just sux you don't dig it.  zombiejellyfish wrote: I find him merely frustrating to listen to. Well...you're not alone.  ESD does drive some people crazy.  It does seem that a good percentage more people like him than not (just based on some recent voting threads).It might be an acquired taste...some people do slowly start falling for Dave over time.  So hang in there!  Maybe instead of noticing your own irritation with him, you can notice Ron's pleasure in him.  The ESD beat-down is a loving and lovely thing to behold.   zombiejellyfish wrote: Yeah. It just seems a waste of Ron's talents to tee-off on someone like Dave.But I will concede that it can be enjoyable to listen to. I just think it happens too much.

Dave is funny, and I can honestly say that any ill will I have towards him is fueld by pure jealousy over his job. There has yet to be a moment where Daves utter joy over being a part of the show hasnt translated on air. When Im not wishing I had his job, I enjoy hearing how obvious it is that he is in heaven working there.

There are other sites where a lot of Ron & Fez fans hate ESD.And there's not much funnier than a nice beatdown by Ronny. My favorite part of that is Fezzy screaming "Ronny, no!!!!", as Ronny rushes ESD. Hilarious.Me, I'm like the ESD Switzerland. He's done some things that made me crack up, but he's done stuff that made me really annoyed.

ESD is the worst but you have to understand the financial restraints of the show. I am sure if they could afford a valid 3rd mic they would have one. Dave's bit of being the guy everyone points and laughs at is the lowest form of comedy and it's expires quickly. Soon people will tire of him and he will be replaced by someone else who will work for peanuts and be the predictable buffoon. If you want to speed up Dave's demise, simply quit giving him heat. His whole act is people hating him, when that ends so does he. My personal favourite is the people on this website who claim his is being unfunny on purpose and it's a bit. As I always say, when does he branch out to do another bit where he actually is funny?
