For the new listeners, if you're unfamiliar with BAM, he spews racist and insensitive rhetoric on a daily basis.  Whether he believes it or is trying to be funny is up for debate, but he fails miserably on either count.  He tried to do a bit on O&A that went horribly, horribly wrong, was confronted by Po, and that was the last time you heard Bam on the air for a sustained bit.

as per the stunt baby, i dunno about that. but there was definitely a photo essay on CNN where they tried to pull that with a group of young men.  he was helping them clear debris for like 5 pictures, and then all of a sudden they're pulling his 'dead' body out of the rubble.  the caption was revised to 'injured' after a bunch of people called them on it.

"No such thing as a liberal press in the US" What a dumbfuck this caller is. How far to the fucking left to you have to be to think that the US media is slanted to the right. I never rely on just one source for news, I check multiple stations, multiple news sites, but it has been my experience that other than the clearly slanted Fox News, lots of media outlets (CNN, NY Times, etc) tend to be slanted at least a tad to the left.

fyi... here is one small example of what i was talking about today... <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vPAkc5CLgc" target="_self">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vPAkc5CLgc</a> part of this project (and only part) is to document this type of propaganda in its entirety... listen... i dont care if you found what i had to say boring or not... of course it wasnt a funny segment, it wasnt meant to be (in fact i didnt even know that this was going to brought up at all... i just brought in some cuban cigars for ronnie... figured i would give them to him and then leave... then a called asked about it and this whole discussion began) anyway... i dont care if you find it boring or not... but just so you guys know... i was not some tourist over there that was merely speaking their mind... my job professionally is Political and media relations consulting... we do a lot of work with different organizations who are having a problem getting their message out... and one of my specialties is international media relations... on this trip i spend a lot of time speaking to IDF commanders, soldiers, and government officials and i also spent time touring the damage, sleeping in bomb shelters, spent time on the front lines, etc... so i did my homework in order to work on this projectsure, alot of what i said today was my own personal opinion - i was off the clock today - but these opinions are backed up by facts and personal experience working in that field...again... i went on the show to give ronnie some cigars... it ended up becoming a discussion about the war... i wasnt prepared for that and didnt intend for that to happen... so if you found it boring, what can i say, i hope you enjoyed the rest of the show... not every segment can be a winner for everyone... and if you disagree with my political ideology fine, thats your opinion.. but please understand that i am not some layman speaking on these issues just because i can - this is what i do for a living... and i make a very good living doing it so i must be doing something right <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vPAkc5CLgc" target="_self"></a>

actually, the jews who'd emigrated to palestine fought a war of independence in 1948.  what the u.n. had done before this was agree to split the palestinian territory into two pieces (half-jewish, half-palestinian) to try to halt the violence between the two sides.  the u.n. recognized israeli independence in 1949.  the u.n. didn't create israel.

Yesterday, the further it went, and more dense it got, the less likelihood of swinging back to being funny it seemed. All of that said - I listen for Ron and Fez, and pretty much anybody they talk with, I'll stick it out and enjoy simply because Ron and Fez are there. BAM may not be my favorite person who has received air time, but who really cares - he's a fan of the show, and has done things to promote it, and that will always go a long way with me.
