listen, it's good practice to be in a question answer competition to ask for the question to be repeated to you. Just like it is normal to ask for words to be repeated, used in a sentence, or a definition. Also do you really pay attention to a question being asked to your opponent? I don't, I'd do the same thing asking for the question to be repeated.
