My music mainstays are classic rock, hip hop, and good old fashioned hippie jam bands. Recently however I've been captivated by the sounds of Justin Timberlake (Sexyback), Fergie (London Bridge) and to my absolute horror Paris Hilton (Stars Are Blind). They are now the top played songs on my iPod. I thought as you grew older pop music was supposed to fade from your musical agenda. What the hell is happeneing to me? Do I need to seek professional help? I just needed to get this off my chest.

It's ok. You are among friends. When Ray of Light by Madonna came out (eons ago) I couldn't get enough.

The only reason I'm not hooked on the latest bit of pablum is because I haven't listened to Top 40 in a while. Otherwise I know I'd be hooked to at least one song.

i'm sure i've enjoyed my share of pop tunes over the years. i just categorize music as two things "i like it" or "i don't like it"...

loved Madonna all through the years... one of the first cassettes i made was a Madonna/Rick James mix

Oh like none of you guys ever heard a song on the radio and closed up the windows so no one would hear you sing at the top of your lungs?

Riiiight. You'll be ready to admit to it when you're trying to get into the pants of an overly-emotional chick.

There's always some ultra gay pop song that comes out that's so damn catchy you can't help but sing it. Last year I'd often catch myself singing "B-a-n-a-n-a-s....bananas!" in the most inappropriate surroundings.

I'll also cop to loving some of the cheesiest pop songs ever from the 70's, probably because they remind me of my childhood.

i haven't heard any of their music and i'm not even sure who one of the 3 people are(Fergie). the only stuff thats on radio now that is kind of embarassing to admit i like is one or two of those Kelly Clarkson songs. that "Since you been gone" line is really catchy.

I like most music, rap, r&b, pop, club, dance, digital, 80's rock, 60's doo wop, 70's disco. I can find almost all types of music I like except 99% of country and I hate heavy metal and greatful dead type of music. I like to listen to the new stuff and when I want some older stuff I listen to mp3's

I don't care if you listen to ABBA, Phil Collins, Pet Shop Boys and WHAM!

But Paris Hilton should never, ever be given the privilege of earning a penny off the general public which if she was given to meet, would sooner spit in their face and have them removed from her table. The girl never worked a day in her life. She CANNOT sing and thanks to a pair of talented producers, she now has a talentless album. She is a waste of space.
