8/23 - From DCRTV's Rumorama. Unconfirmed. We're told: "Effective 12:45 PM today Max (new PD at JFK) has terminated Rosenberg's employment with WJFK as a result of the statements Peter made of this weekend's show. No word as of yet on what this will mean for the New York deal." Peter Rosenberg (left), who had hosted late mornings until Opie and Anthony's re-arrival in June, has been feuding with JFK-FM afternooner Don Geronimo. The new program director at 106.7 is Max Dugan, we hear. Dugan, who replaces Greg Gillispie (who lasted six months at the Free FM talker), also programs CBS's co-owned classic rock WARW.....

I'm hoping for a reunion of TechTalk with Cameron and Dr. Richard Sheetz.

I miss "The Call that Melted Fezzie Down." Is there any chance that we'll get to hear the uncensored version of that segment someday Mikeyboy?

He was the official whipping boy out of convenience as much as earned. Real corporate villians are higher up and still there - but you never know who you have to work for or with one day.

That said - really glad Greg Gillespi is gone! That guy was a 100% douche. As far as Rosenberg....ehh...doesn't effect me one way or another.

(And BOBO - DAMN YOU! You got the big line early!)

More: Peter Rosenberg Lands AM Gig On NYC Hip-Hopper - 8/11 - "In a first, NY's premier rap station, Hot 97, hires a Jewish DJ in prime-time." That's from a Jewish Week article about former WJFK-FM talker and DC area native Peter Rosenberg (right), who headed up to NYC urban outlet WQHT, Hot 97, last year. After doing a late-night Sunday show, he's now doing an early morning weekday gig on the top-rated Emmis outlet.....

That's much better than spinning tunes late nights in an Adams-Morgan McDonald's.

Funny thing is that "Emmis" is the Ashkenazim pronunciation of the Hebrew / Yiddish word for "the Truth!"

sid rosenberg was working at JFK?

I thought the same. Sid is still in Miami. My bet is Sid will say something about Pennington being from West Virginia and upset people who look like this:
