We're told: "Effective 12:45 PM today Max (new PD at JFK) has terminated Rosenberg's employment with WJFK as a result of the statements Peter made of this weekend's show. No word as of yet on what this will mean for the New York deal." Peter Rosenberg (left), who had hosted late mornings until Opie and Anthony's re-arrival in June, has been feuding with JFK-FM afternooner Don Geronimo. The new program director at 106.7 is Max Dugan, we hear. Dugan, who replaces Greg Gillispie (who lasted six months at the Free FM talker), also programs CBS's co-owned classic rock WARW.....

Pretty sure R&F were on the JFK website weeks after they were gone. is this is true, he was just let go about an hour or so ago...

I think he was let go, then got picked up by Red Zebra.Cam-Daddy absolutely left on his own - he was in tight with Redskins Radio and when they left WJFK, he followed (something a former staffer predicted to me a good 8 months before it happened); he took the brunt of on-air criticism there, but he wasn't making decisions and was really a PD in name only. He was the official whipping boy out of convenience as much as earned. Real corporate villians are higher up and still there - but you never know who you have to work for or with one day. That said - really glad Greg Gillespi is gone! That guy was a 100% douche. As far as Rosenberg....ehh...doesn't effect me one way or another. (And BOBO - DAMN YOU! You got the big line early!)

That's from a Jewish Week article about former WJFK-FM talker and DC area native Peter Rosenberg (right), who headed up to NYC urban outlet WQHT, Hot 97, last year.
