R&amp;F go with the people who are able to deliver on air. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I didn't deny he wasn't right on Benecio, etc.&nbsp; Fans of the show always make the best interns.&nbsp; However, Ron and Fez have both gone on-air and said that they weren't big fans of the JFK era.&nbsp; It's not just a blanket statement on my part.</p><p>Yeah, but there are a lot of people who felt differently, so it is a blanket statement.&nbsp;&nbsp;You know as well as anyone that R&amp;F have a talent for making the most of bad situations, and even though they didn't want to be in DC that hardly kept them from creating great radio.&nbsp; There have been shows that R&amp;F have done on WNEW and XM that R&amp;F haven't been particularly proud of but that get a huge reaction from the listeners, so the fact that R&amp;F have maligned some of those shows should be taken with a grain of salt.&nbsp; The Harry Elvis/candle wax show is one that comes to mind as an&nbsp;example.&nbsp; Even when they are miserable, they're able to make some damned funny radio.&nbsp;&nbsp;I think the WJFK era gets unfairly maligned by a) WNEW listeners who, to cope with losing the show,&nbsp;assumed that it can't have been good without them, and b) by people who &quot;heard&quot; that it wasn't good. &nbsp;I'm not saying that the WNEW era wasn't better or completely different, but the assumption that the WJFK shows were crap is, well, crap.&nbsp; All I'm saying is base these kinds of statements on what you know rather than what you've heard.</p>
