This is serious

I got a smoker box for my grill and decided to try it out on some pork ribs I bought last night. They turned out OK. I seasoned half with a dry rub and the other half with a wet rub (both store bought). Its kind of a pain in the ass to clean. 2 questions for anyone who knows about smoking food

1. should I wet the chips, The manual made no mention of doing that but I have seen cooking shows use wet and dry chips any advice

2. any killer combos or good ideas

The wet chips kinda steam them more than smoke them..How Long did you leave them in? A couple 3-4 hours is really good
