Actually thought he did a good job despite the songs in the background (which were hilarious). Maybe its just because I'm a punk fan but he did at least as good a job as your regular jock. I was expecting him to stammer through the whole thing. He did need to throw out some more band names though

Earl stepped up and did it. The interview was interesting and I'd like to see the flick. He let the guys talk and got the cheeseless basket ref in there, all while being musically needled.
I'm glad Earl didn't tank the interview... but it would've been very entertaining to hear him lose it on air.

I started laughing my ass off when Dueling Banjos kicked in. Earl did a much better job interviewing than that other show on 202. Their interviews are always painful to listen to.
I expected a disaster, but Earl did a nice job today. I didn't think it was going to go very well when he went silent for a couple minutes after his introduction and first question. The guy actually had to ask if anyone was still there. But he did a good job pulling it together despite the distractions.
Did anyone else notice that for his interview Earl had all the facts right? The titles and web page,,, Just asking.

i thought Earl did an okay job. I feel his skills can improve but he has a timid personality and you just get a feeling he is not "in control"

I thought he wasn't going to plug the sponser the second time.

The
banjos had me laughing on the bus (it was better with earplugs) and the
person next to me thought I was a crazy woman. If it was Earl, he
would have thought he could bang me.

maybe before each interview Earl can gain some quick energy and vigor with a nice ass paddling?
