Well, without knowing you or what exactly is going on with you and your family, I can only speak from my own experience when I'd go out on my own and was often "kicked out" by my parents as well ((but that started loooooooooooooong before I was 17)).  All I can say is, I went back and I'm glad I did. I've said it to you before Gwen, you remind me a lot of how I used to be, and I worry about you.

i have a job and i am doing well in school , i plan on going to the colloge of staten island if i cant get a decent scholarship . my mom's exact words were " you know what i really , really want gwen? i want you out of mmy house , i dont want you living with me and i never want anything to do with you again ." . so you know wahat ? fuck her . i got a place to stay as long as i need to .

Gwen, I hope it all works out for you.  You sound grounded and have some definite plans for continuing your education so good for you.  I'm sorry this shit is happening to you.  Don't hate your Mom, as twisted as she may seem right now - in her heart she probably is doing what she thinks is best for you, even if she isn't.  Devil's advocate?  It's hard being a parent.  Some people are good at it and some people suck at it.  But unless the parent is a complete and utter sociopath, there is love and a bond that doesn't disappear in the bad times between parent and child.  It is a cliche, but when you have children of your own some day, you'll understand and use what you have learned to be a better parent yourself.Hopefully this will work itself out.

Well, if those were her exact words and it could be verified on your friends' phones, then she may be a bit unstable.  But if they are not and you are just angry, there is a chance that your anger wants that to be true.  For attention and help. But I'm no doctor, just callin' the two ways I might see it.  And even they could be wrong.Nonetheless, cool off for tonight at your friend's, then go home tomorrow.  Find out what your Mom expects from you, and tell her what you would like - but realize, you are a kid, and you have limitations for a reason.

If need be, you can call the red cross and inquire if there is a crisis & respite shelter available to you. Having been a homeless minor for 2 years of my life, 16-18, it's not something i would wish on anyone!!!
