So, this picture is on drudgereport.com near the headlines Oil Dips Below $60... and OPEC CONSIDERS DROP IN OUTPUT:

I don't know about where you guys are, but gas is about $2.30/gal, where I live, not $1.49. Lowest I found on gasbuddy.com was $1.99 in Des Moines, IA. Seems that they are using some old picture to make it seem that gas prices are dropping lower than they really are.

How much is gas where you live?

Still costs me about $10 more to fill it up than it did 3 years ago.

Too bad they supply a huge percentage of the US's oil and he can''t do shit about it since the assasination on Hugo failed like most of his ideas. You need the others up there bc I believe they're even worse than Citgo. At least they gave heating oil away to people in the NYC of need last winter.

i paid 2.69 today. thats what it was last june (2005). it is no way close to 1.49. now, why would they cut back output now that the price is coming down? Why not just keep the status quo so that we can have some $$$ in our purses.

The Drudge Report presents both sides of a story and points out the hypocrasies (spelling?) of both sides, therefore liberals hate it. Liberals only want to hear one side of the story - theirs.

I don't see anything wrong with being what he is. We are all grown up enough to click on the link and read the story and not go by headlines. I think we can all then discern what's opinion and what's not if you are so concerned with that.
You know the "we are all smart and grown ups and can think for ourselves"...then I realized I was giving ourselves too much credit. Haters will always hate for the sake of hating...and by the way I wouldn't put anything past Mr. Drudge or the whole lot of them...They're all BastardPeople those "journalists"...

Edited for speling errers

Well the gas right around the corner from me is $2.29 per gallon but the Delta station in Fairfield, NJ on Clinton road is $2.25 per gallon. Not bad for the tri-state area at all! I know NYC is still at about 2.60. per gallon.

I filled up my tank for $2.19/gallon yesterday here in Jersey.

Hmmm. election draws near for a republican party in soo much trouble, and no one is questioning WHY gas has dropped a penny a day for the last couple weeks, I bet not 2 days after the mid-terms this shit is through the roof again. And Drudge is a liar pure and simple. Pull out the LIberals don't wanna hear both sides of the argument...and shove it up your ass. You can take a Bush loyalist and lay out the FACTS (Not to be confused with OPINION) and show time and time again, mistakes have been made. Not even arguing the merit of the mistake, but the fact that a mistake was made, and they will kick and scream and yell (and blame clinton) that its not true because one of the TV news people says it isn't. Drudge is a pool-boy for the RNC, he takes their money and does their bidding.

And the wah-WaH about the Liberal media is crap too. Its corporate media, not liberal. (by the way name all of the liberal anchors...) To read Drudge and feel like you are reading Independent media is a joke. He gets his talking points right from the RNC everyday. And makes up news stories to fit the intended message.

Gas in SWFL : 2.49$ gallon.
