<p>Thanks to our wonderful Governor Jon Corzine, New Jersey has begun taxing the puchase of online music and videos. He claims it's to help reduce the state's 4.5 billion dollar defecit. Yeah, right. Like any of that money will go toward the defecit. He'll only increase the spending. It's just opening the door to taxing any and all internet purchases. </p><p>Here's the list of all previously untaxed items that are now being taxed here in my lovely Garden State - at the new and improved 7 % rate, of course - </p><p> • Downloaded music and video<br />
• Shipping and handling charges<br />
• Flooring and carpeting installation<br />
• Storage space<br />
• Tanning, massage and tattooing<br />
• Data processing<br />
• Limousines<br />
• Health, shopping and other club membership fees<br />
• Parking garages and lots<br />
• Non-clothing cleaning services<br />
• Landscaping<br />
• Magazines and periodicals<br />
• Investigation and security services, such as security alarms and armored cars</p>
