I'm currently running Firefox 1.5.0.7 and it seems that the past few updates have resulted in more problems than solutions. I used to be an ardent supporter of the browser but lately it has a tough time loading pages and slows down noticeably after awhile. Before you all start whining that it's because I'm on a Mac I must say that two of my Windows using friends (poor misguided souls) have noticed the same issues.
ive been having a problem where it'll start loading a page, then the whole program freezes up, then about 10-15 seconds later it'll either unfreeze or totally crash. just waiting for the next browser to come out

minor ones here and there, mostly with the amount of resources firefox takes up, but FireFox 2.0 should fix alot of the probs with it. And I get that page freeze thing occassionally too.

Maybe you need to switch to IceWeasel.

I've had no problems, but I'm using the latest release candidate.
Actually I did have this problem. It hasn't happened to me recently though. I thought it might've had something to do with the infamous chat virus

I run a mac at home and a pc at work and I have firefox on both. Neither have been giving me problems, but then again I don't have many extensions or add-ins.
