Hey did anyone else think today's show was outstanding? Thank god that guy Rapper came in what a great guest. He really got Ron to open up and talk about stuff that we almost never get to hear about. It sounds like Ron grew up in a pretty rough part of town and was involved with some scary dudes and here I thought he had just an average white middle class childhood. Ron you really need to sit down and write a book you seem to be filled with endlessly great stories and have a awesome way of relating them. Great show

Absolutely a Great show and Great Ron Stories. The only shame was that sheepy and Fez could only be heard laughing, but A Great Show Guest.

I will agree, todays show was top notch. Ron seems to get a little more pep in his delivery when he gets to talk about the old days growing up.

Phenominal.

I'm so glad someone else posted this. I was sitting in my car today on my lunch break listening to this and thinking to myself, 'i wish every show was like this, its so fucking good' i even wanted to start a thread about this. it was just incredible and such an insight into who Ron is. Rapper was outstanding, I was so happy to hear that type of radio. That type of shit blows away anything else on the radio for me.
i agree, i loved ron talking about his childhood memories. I live in the area and have traveled to marcus hook once, to a u-pull it junk yard, it's serious chester county. Kinda brings it all home when he talks about the philly burbs and fuckin rap was great, not too nervous or trying too hard, very natural on the radio..i loved it when he kept using peoples real names...butchy T, ha..very good shit today...R&R 4evar

Yeah, getting Rapper's visit on the file library would be fantastic. But hey, if not, that's fine. I'll just *remember* the story.

Son of a BITCH!

I just spent an hour recording the last hour of Wednesday's show with Rapper. After the recording was done, I cleared my MyFi. I go to edit my recording and...

I had left the recording settings to "Mic". I had just recorded a whole hour of me watching TV. I'm such and idiot. ALWAYS check the recording before erasing the source! I hope I can get it on the replays this weekend.

When I first started listening and hearing the stories with these guys, I thought it was a hell of a lot like all of my teens and early 20s, but as the stories went on, I realized those guys are in a whole 'nother stratosphere. Wow, I probably wouldn't have survived. Great Show!

Ron's friends grew up like my college roommate and his friends. I grew up like a pussy compared to them, but we'd always go back to his old stomping grounds to hit bars, hang out with the old crew, etc and I'd get thrown into the middle of this shit without any knowledge of what the hell was going on.

There have been many stories of people getting hit with tree trimmers, bats, hatchets, etc that I never thought were true until I was in the middle of a 50 man brawl swinging for my life.

The problem was always that I was the biggest dude of all of them, so when I was around they just figured I knew what I was doing. I boxed for a few years, so I could throw a punch, but holy shit... nothing like a real brawl.

Hearing Rap and Ron talk about how they grew up sounded a shit load like what I SAW going back home with my roommate and hanging out in his old town. It was like every time we stopped at a red light we had to be ready to get out and shit stomp someone.
