I have a secret desire to get involved in politics. Everyone I have talked to about it thinks I'm an idiot for it, but there's something so interesting to me about the whole political scene. It's like a football game with winners and losers but where no one really wins.

Volunteer for a political party. I know a few people who started out that way. Go to their meetings, and start going to local meetings about zoning issues and the like.

Well why should I vote for you? Tell who the bad guys are, and then I'll run out to vote for you.

I know the book has a bad rep but if you want to truly understand real politics, you should read "The New Prince" by Machiavelli.

Well why should I vote for you? Tell who the bad guys are, and then I'll run out to vote for you.

People. People are the bad guys.

But seriously, what do you mean by bad guys? If you mean the enemies of the USA, then I would have to say it's the terrorist orginizations through out the world. Unfortunately, we'll never be able to take on all of them at once, and we'll probably never be able to eliminate the problem. But, we should make the war ont error a more underground operation. Take out the heads of these terror orginizations. I'm thinking like the scene of The Godfather where the heads of the different families are gunned down.

I'm a political science major and work for the government. That's exactly why I have no desire to ever become a politician.

I think, maybe, I just want to be a political commentator. Along the lines of Britt Hume I suppose.
