What did you find?

I found my first major crush from HS is back in our hometown and publisher of an on-line site aboy local politics.

My JR high crush was in a band called Lotion and is now in a band called Honeycomb.

To be honest, I didn't find much on my exes. I forgot some of their last names.

I found an ex girlfriend. She had quite a few articles about her being a seat belt and airbag advocate (even testified before Congress). That's about it. I've searched for almost every name I can remember from my past... friends and girlfriends.

Yes. I rarely find anything good. Mostly their name in a list of their HS graduating class.

When I google myself, I find a letter I wrote to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin that Tim Naehring should've made the all-star game in 1996 (yes, I'm a homer) and a couple pictures I took at the Tour de Georgia Cycling race. Along with another Sox and another Cycling related thing.

That and my grandfather's obituary from the Washington Post.

Squat.

Litterally! I found my highschool crush squatting over some guys face dropping mud and taking a face full of bukake on some big website. Then again she was voted "Most Likely to Suck Seed."

Yes, and only found info on one who is now a successful art director and
drum circle participant in Culver City California.

Have you ever had someone get in touch with you you know was a result of
them googling your name? Some guy that had a crush on me in high school
sent me an email--it was kind of creepy.

I have looked up people a few time not necessarily exes and always come out with other people who are long dead. Kinda disappointing actually.

Gaia
11-11-2006, 07:02 AM

No. I hope they are all dead.

Did I say that? Hey, they are "Ex's" for a reason.

Grudge? me? no way!

Seriously havent done it, I havent felt the urge to, although I did find an ex on my space and he is now exactly what he despised when we were younger, a materialistic, shallow piece of horse crap. Good times, good times.

Nope, I'm done with them. If I wanted to know how they were I would have kept in contact.

I Google myself from time to time though. I like the very handsome results I get.

I've done it, but I usually find they share the name of a very accomplished, successful person. Just when I start feeling happy for them and all they've done I realize it's not the person I was looking for.
All of a sudden i went from ...wow..."why would this chick date me...to shit my plans of being taken care of for life are gone"

Ugh. This gives me the douche-chills. I never found anything very informative about any of my ex's and crushes, and I generally don't look very hard because it feels sort of creepy/dirty to do it. Blech.

I must say that I have. I've googled, online phonebooked, Google earthed, followed her parents from work - home, home - stores, etc.... I've even gone as far as bugging her parents house when they were on vacation to see if I could gather any Intel. My next step is to set up a camo hunting platform in the trees across the road with my infra red imaging camera to see if she's ever there.

Honestly, it's been 8 years and I think about her occaisionally. I have googled her but nothing. I seen her about 9 months ago at a store in town, we both smiled at each other. I continued to my truck with my wife and kids. That was the biggest smile I've had since my kids were born.... Kinda the one that got away y'know.
