<p>Has anyone else contacted congress about pending satellite radio legislation? I clicked a link and contacted my rep and senators. Got a reply from one of my senator's today. Pretty standard stuff but there were a a couple of sentences I find worrying.</p><p>"Advances in technology now offer consumers the ability to produce professional quality recordings. This poses the question of whether the companies have the right to transmit high-quality frequencies while also giving their customers the ability to digitally record this information on special devices for their personal enjoyment."</p><p>Does the music industry really think that satellite radio and some Innos will be their ruin? I'd say their ruin is more of a "shitty music" issue. I believe I'll send another email. </p>
