Anyone listening today when Ron was on the veg side of the world, until that dumb hippy called up talking about plants not feeling pain because they are rooted??I almost wanted to eat a burger, just because that guy was such a cunt.

Didn't feel a thing.

Yes, it was an embarrassing call, but I think we can agree that being under Ron's magnifying glass is stressful.  However, I wish the caller had touched on the reason I'm vegan: I can't kill most animals on my own.  They are either too strong or too fast for me to personally kill.  I can kill ANY vegetable.  Tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, I can kill you with my bare hands!

Yeah, the guy that called in was an idiot, but Ron saying plants live and feel pain like animals do is a bit of stretch.  Its pretty much saying cutting a dogs tail off is no different than mowing your lawn.  And most people become vegetarians for the personal health benefits and don't feel like they're above people who eat meat.

The point that Ron was making is that anything you eat is living, so why should worry about it, Just take that knife and slit that cows throat.  The beef will still be mooing, but it will be great.
