I dont know if this is the forum for this but here goes:today during a shitty ass presentation on the evolution of retail and how the mom and pop storefront is a fossil and is hurting the economy, the lights went out and i knew i couldnt fall sleep.  Being inspired by the OnA clip from last week with Patrice speaking about daydream about stuff.  Sometimes it is about a comic book character that i created in my head, most times its about doing stand up and where that may lead to, like a sitcom, a movie or my top dream: my own radio show.  todays day dream was the radio show and what to call it "bullshiting", "stu in the morning", "the danger zone with STU E. Dangerously", "The Night Shift."  i didnt say any of them are good but it passed the time.   what i am asking is, what do youse day dream about.

I daydream about a lot of things.  i get lost in my head thinking about how cool it would be to be a celebrity.  I swear the normal life i live seems so empty.  i look at different celebrities and im saddened that it should be me at the mtv music awards chillin backstage rubbing elbows with stars.

Usually in that kind of situation I day dream about causing some kind of scene.  Like just yelling "No I won't FUCK YOU!!!"  And in my mind look at everyone and see how they would react and who would lauff and who would be pissed and security coming and then making a bigger scene by grabbing a hostage and then just getting mid-evil.... it's just about then that someone catches me staring at them as I am deep in my day dream... and I come out of it and do the ol' eyebrow shoulder shrug like "sorry".  But in my head I'm lauffing because they don't know how close they were to being a hostage... hahahahahaha......

I dream about how to get out of the city when the shit hits the fan. And it will hit the fan. People will be eaten.  Are you prepared to survive?

I daydream about the end of days.  How i will be living in a state of marshall law.  a place when i run around killing and loving.  then i realize i driving down the expressway headed to the shop, my day sucks until the buddys come on.

This thread made me realize that I don't really daydream, everything is in a fog all day so I guess I'm too busy trying to make sense of whats going on.

Lately, I haven't been daydreaming but rather play a memory game i used to play in high school.  Here it is:A) Think of a person, movie, character, object, etc.  Ex:  BoobsB) What's the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of that: Ex StugotsC)  Keeping repeating B:  Ex. thinking of Stugots, I think Ronfez.net., Thinking of Ronfez.net, I think of Ron & Fez, thinking of them makes me think of WNEW.  Thinking of WNEW makes me think of my first first years after law school listening to WNEW while working. That makes me think of a case I worked on at the time, etc.Then after a certain amount of time, I go backwards and try to remember the progression.  So if I remember the case, then I try to remember what triggered the case - first years of work.  Then I remember WNEW, then Ron & Fez, then Ronfez.net, then stugots, and then boobs.It sounds stupid, but it keeps me busy, and it's also interesting what things come to mind when you think of things.

i believe in daydreams, i'm a daydream believerwhen i was a kid i daydreamed my way through school. can't say i daydream much anymore. i think i've learned to just put my brain in idle mode

I think of having sex with whoever is around and what it would be like. Or I think of doing something inappropriate and what the reaction would be. When I was younger I had a freind who would just walk up to people and say crazy shit like "Big Black Pussy". The reactions were great. Now it doesn't seem like it would go over so good.
