I apologize for not introducing myself earlier. I wanted to post a few days and make sure this was something that I could stick around for in the long run. I have been a faithful R&F listener for 14 months and have been creeping around ronfez.net for a little over two. I waited a while to register so that I could get a feel for what you all were about – just trying to make my transition a little easier – I’ve never posted on a message board like this before.

Anyway, my name is GFunk and I am a 23-year-old soon-to-be college graduate. I am an education major and will be doing my student teaching next Fall. I hail from Cincinnati, OH and enjoy everything Cincinnati (Bengals, Reds, etc.). I’m a normal 20 something guy and take pleasure from all the finer things in life – beer, girls, sports, and beer. As for me, the details of my life are quite inconsequential... Where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

In my lucid moments, I am a practicing attorney in South Carolina, and I am a degenerate Ron & Fez fan. I still chuckle every time I think about Ron's bit on Anna Nicole Smith's death -- after hearing that she had died by choking on her own vomit, Ron noted, "Well, it was the way she would have wanted to go."

Anyway, I decided to grab a seat and see what this ride is like. I'll be around, lurking and sometimes posting.

I also felt like everyone had "The Emperor Has No Clothes" syndrome, preventing them from admitting that it was not nearly as funny as had been anticipated.

That being said, I have come to appreciate the movie for independent moments and line deliveries. The Dr. Evil quote I included in my last post just grew on me over time. It's absurd and unexpected and, now, makes me laugh.
