So, there going to do 12-3 on XM, nothing for three hours then go to Free FM and do 6-9?  I say there's a pretty good chance the FreeFM show is just a cleaned up replay of the XM show.

I was hoping FreeFM wouldn't renew the contract with JV and Elvis. I was reading about that in Steppin Out Magazine and I got a semi fantasizing about R&F taking over that time slot.

The idea of Ron and Fez basically doing radio ALL day comes off as a bit absurd to me. Eventually at some point it is going to be one show or the other. Or they might do what someone mentioned earlier, and clean up the XM show for replay on 92.3.

I just called and the Radio Chick call screener said they are going to be on tonight at 6 but she thinks for only an hour.  Maybe they are doing an intro shw before Penn and then after that the New Year they will start the regular slot.

If and when it happens I'm gonna have to figure out a way to record it from the live feed on the website. Other then just sticking a tape recorder in front of a speaker.

More power to the buddays if they can pull off two shows a day, but 12-3 and 6-9 is basically a 9 hour day. If they do pull it it off, I sincerely hope XM carries the FM show.

My guess (that I have started already) - they didn't get the paperwork signed in time.Someone over at FBA knows the DJ that was on @ 7pm (Nik Carter) and he said Nik was called in at the last minute to play tunes. They played an hour of Penn from 6-7 (which up until yesterday was Radio Chick time) which I am guessing was done as filler until Nik could get in studio @ 7pm. So since we watched the WFNY website change 4 times over the course of the afternoon yesterday, and the people at the station even said R&F would be on, I am betting we will hear R&F tonight @ 6pm.I am just waiting to see what happens on the WFNY website later in the day (or maybe Ron will mention it during their show today).youre dead on there man.. as a blind old crippled wise woman once said..."wait for it..."

I was so hoping to hear them last night that when I went out to do some shopping I brought headphones with me to listen. I was was kinda pissed but Teller is ok. It was funny...even chick didnt know who was on after her. She had to ask. She used to have an ok show...now It is crap. Hope the Buddays get the deal done today!!!

Any chance of it being on XM as well as 92.3 or will we all be forced to listen to the show using other means?I don't see O/A giving up their replay slot for them though.  This really blows.

I noticed on the WFNY website that every show they list (except Opie and Anthony) is also available as a podcast. I wonder if The Buddaays might be available that way too. (yeah I know it is a remote chance but what the heck)

I don't see why not if it is an exclusive to Free FM deal. Until we know though it's just speculation.Remember o&a/xm have a deal with Audible and they sell their podcasts through them.

I think I'd like to join in on all the speculatin, it looks like fun. I suspect that the part of this deal thats not done is the XM portion. I can't imagine that E-lo and company would just let R&F slide off and do 3 hours of radio and not try and capitalize on it, they know the popularity of the show and no doubt wouldn't want their talent driving their customers to a local fm station or an internet feed. It could be that XM is working on putting the boys on another (non xl?) channel and didn't want any announcement yesterday without a gain for XM.
