Correction: I AM gettin another car

<p>I drove a car today at work and I think I'm gonna by it, it was so fuckin nasty:</p><p><img src="http://i15.ebayimg.com/02/a/07/73/5d/df_1.JPG" border="0" width="400" height="300" /> </p><p> 2004 VW R32</p><p>it looks tame but this thing rips. 0-60 in under 6 seconds, 6 speed manual, all wheel drive and just a nasty handling car. I might be gettin in some trouble soon </p>

I meant new to me. The car is 29 at our place but im payin 25,5 if i get it and ive seen them around other places as high as 33 grand with around 20K miles, eventhough new they were only 30. The one i might get has 14K miles

<p>WAIT WAIT WAIT!</p><p>You should really drive a new '07 GTI before signing on the dotted line.ÿ It doesn't have as much power (out of the box), but it handles much, much better.ÿ The turbo-4 is much less nose heavy than that monster of a six.ÿ And its cheaper.ÿ Brand new.</p><p>I was going to get one, but the MINI caught my eye.</p>

The noise from the R32 is one of the&nbsp;nicest features.&nbsp; I drove the 07 GTi and I didn't think it handled nearly as well as my 337 (it came with better, lower, stiffer components than was available for the regular GTi), I would have to drive an R32 again with the 07 to feel the differences there but the R32's motor does weigh about 60lbs more than the 2.0T.

I drive all day at work, and drive pretty nice cars, and I havent been in anything aside from a porsche that handles even as good as the R32, including EVERY BMW.&nbsp;</p><p>It is worlds faster then the GTI and holds a corner twice as tight. You almost can't slide this thing out, I know cause I tried when I had to drive it to the dealer whom I'm buying it from.</p><p>I'll go as far as too say all around on performance, this is the nicest car I've ever driven sans a 911. It seems to handle even better then the boxter does, and is much better for everyday use&nbsp;</p>

It seems to handle even better then the boxter does, and is much better for everyday useÿ</p><p>Insane, certifiable.ÿ But that doesn't change the fact that the Mk IV Golf chassis was the heaviest and most bloated Golf to ever carry the name.ÿ You can't slide out ANY VW because they all understeer like mad.ÿ Its a combination of suspension geometry and the weight imbalance.ÿ These are &quot;light&quot; cars, but the VR6 is a very heavy engine.ÿ But, to its advantage, its a powerful and torquey engine, which bandages the other qualities of the car.</p><p>The R32 is faster, absolutely.ÿ Out of the box.ÿ Its much easier to get additional power from a turbocharged engine than a naturally aspirated one.ÿ Chip it, and the story is different.ÿ I've seen 300 hp from the VW 2.0 FSI.ÿ</p><p>Don't get me wrong, I think the R32 is a sweet car.ÿ I think you'll love it.ÿ But between spending 25k on a used car, and 19k on a brand new car that can be as good, or better, with minor modifications, I'd always go new.ÿ But then again, I'm addicted to new car smell.ÿ And depreciation.</p><p>And don't get me started on how BMW and Porsche have been watering down their cars and brands over the past 5-10 years.ÿ I almost didn't buy the MINI because of BMW's ownership.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

you shouldnt have bought a mini. Aside from obviously looking stupid, they are weird inside and I dont find them to be that great to drive. The S is decently quick but the transmissions suck, especially the automatics and even they they cant handle pretty well, the turn radius is actually pretty bad.
