OK, everything is set.Place:  Dr. Dremo's  <a href="http://www.drdremo.com/">http://www.drdremo.com/</a>Date: Friday, January 26, 2007Time: 8pm We can all meet up in the back room. Walk in the front door, go all the way to the end and take a left. I plan on staking out the area behind the very last pool table. That was the least crowded when I checked it out today.I know a lot of you know each other but you can't identify me. I'll be wearing my Bama visor. I shoudn't be too hard to find. I can't wait. Between drinking at work on Friday afternoons and Happy Hour, I should be pretty buzzed by the time I show up. I'll probably be the guy wearing the suit since I won't get home after work. If not, I'll wear a Florida State hat or something.

Sounds great Count me in and I can't wait to see everyone. Unfortunately, I also have a concert that night at the Verizon Center so I won't be able to make it there by 8pm but I will be there as soon as it's over.

There should be adequate parking (on the Clarendon side).  There's a video store next door as well as an office building next to that where you can park after 6PM.

BOBO, IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THERE SHOULD BE AN EASIER WAY TO GET TO ARLINGTON THAN THAT. IT SEEMS LIKE THAT'S A  ROUNDABOUT WAY THE YAHOO DIRECTIONS ARE GIVEN YOU. HAVE YOU TRIED MAPQUEST OR THEY JUST AS CONFUSING?? I'M SORRY I CAN'T OFFER AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. Its actually pretty direct to cut through the city.  You could take 495 around to the GW parkway, but thats a lot farther and during rush hour will take you forever.  I'm sure there's a quicker way than taking 395 out of the city to get to that part of Arlington, but since Bobo probably isn't very familiar with the city, that's going to be his best bet.

Those directions are the most simple for going through the city.
I personally would stay on 295 until the howard road exit, and
get on S. Capital, and then onto 395, but that's really the kind of
way where you would have to have done it before, or you were
following someone. Plus if you take the 50 way, you pass Dream
nightclub, infamous home of the St. Pat's Spat.

I have a friend who rented a house in that area, I went to the farewell BBQ he had at his place (it's located somewhere near third base of the new National's stadium). It was sketchy as hell.

I thought this was funny since I have never heard of it but Dr. Dremo's has a beer called Delirium Tremens.So, come to the party and cure your DT's with some DTs............nice......(has anyone every heard of this beer, i have not) (my chick just told me that Delirium Tremens is a very famous Belgium beer and if you drink enough of it you are supposed to see Pink Elephant......hence the logo)

basically you want to get off at the Courhouse stop, and when you hit Clarendon blvd go right (or downhill, if that is easier). It's on the opposite side of the street, just past a Taco Bell and a Wendy's.

I just woke up, last night was  a lot of fun.  It was great meeting everyone.  I wish I could get ahold of Kathleen and Bribri and thank them for the ride home.  Things I learned from last night: Ron's impression of Kathleen is dead on, and yomudder is a giant.  Just kidding.  I hope Bama made it to work today, it looked like he was having as much fun as I was.  I gotta drink some water or something.

Kudos Bama, Kudos, excellent job, ya got more peeps than DaDa Day @ the Nat'l Gallery did!!! It was great to meet so many peeps from the DC area & everyone was wonderful, even the Wackbagger, HA HA HA!!!  Just kidding, FlyingStandBy, Luv Ya, seriously... please don't sic the pests on me... please!!! I'm amazing at avoiding flash photography, thank God. Since I've been to D.C. very seldom have I met a nicer group of individuals than I did last night. I tried my best to talk to everyone who was there when I was. Bobo is exactly what you hear on the radio, just really sweetly disposed, funny and knowledgable. Kathleen was extraordinary welcoming to me (who hadn't been to anything like this before), although she may have thought I was someone else initially. Bama and Mrs. Bama are just incredibly cool. It was great to finally meet KOP and Jafter was also really nice and knowledgable about the show. Don the Hypnotist was awesome for sharing some great show moments and Flying Standby seemed like a pretty great guy as well. The only downside was that AJ left before I could talk to him. He's one of my favorite mods because of his sense of humor.

I know i'm a bit late in posting this but I unfortunately work the overnight shift at my job and have not really been able to get to my computer to do any posting.  Even though I got there very late I always say better late than never. I was very happy nevertheless to still find ronfez.net people still there.  I was happy to meet and sit with Kathleen from the bronx and her hubby.  She was fun to talk too and I also enjoyed meeting fezticle 98, Bobo, cupcake and AKA (KOP). I had a great time the short time I was there and I cant wait until we do it again. I would like to thank bama for putting the bar night together and I'm really sorry I wasnt there to thank you personally and I know I missed out on meeting alot of you but I will make sure to be at the next one from the beginning so I meet everyone and hang out and have a good time.
