There was a place in Asheville, NC that would roast the coffee every day. Damn that was some good stuff! Now I just drink two cups of Kirkland at dinner. Sometimes, I pick up a double shot of espresso when I'm too sleepy to drive.

I like trying the different stuff. </p><p>Whatever you do, just don't go to Dunkin Donuts...or if you do, for the love of god, get it black and put your own stuff in it...those savages load it up with so much cream and sugar it makes me jittery all day. </p><p>That, and they put about a 3 inch thick block of cream cheese on a bagel...ruins the whole thing. </p>

<p>I love my java ! The stronger the better ! Starbucks should really be sending me stock options for all the $ I have poured into their place. Coffee at work sucks ass, it tastes like dishwater. I am going to bring my own coffee pot in when I get my new office next month.&nbsp; </p>

&nbsp;Funny thing about Starbucks... They just opened their first one here, and I think hardly anyone goes there. The big chain around here is <a href="http://www.dailygrindunwind.com/">The Daily Grind</a>. They started here in Winchester 12 years ago, and are now one of the fastest growing coffee chains in the country. I think it must be one of the few cases of Starbucks getting out muscled by a smaller company.

Roastaroma is made from healthy grains which have been brought to life by the roasting process. Malt made from barley contains natural grain sugar which gives it a touch of sweetness. Unlike most grain beverages, Roastaroma is blended with selected spices, creating an absolutely full bodies taste treat. It is delicious by itself, or try some cream and honey! This flavor was especially created to give the coffee crowd a delicious coffee-like caffeine-free alternative. </p>

I had always suspected this... but needed proof to say...

Coffee makes you mentally unstable.

Drinking cup after cup of coffee dramatically increases the risk of hallucinating, research shows. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1114685/Go-easy-coffee-start-seeing-things.html)

I wonder what would happen if you put coffee in your Neti pot?

Another ridiculous, flawed study.

Did they take into account that a lot of manic and mentally unstable people tend to drink a lot of coffee?

This is like the study that said coffee drinker were more likely to get lung cancer, never factoring in that many coffee drinkers also smoke like chimneys.

The coffee in the Neti pot does intrigue me, though...

I can't read that study as all I can see is this quote from the old thread re-appearing:

i know, i'm really surprised at how many people won't drink instant coffee. my initial reaction is "what, are you too good for a cup of instant?" but people like what they like i guess

My answer to whoever that was.....Yes, I'm absolutely too good for a cup of instant coffee.

i confess, i drink alot of instant, only because its better an more dependable than the truck/quick stops. often time theirs are sour or watery, and after spending $1+ 3or4 times a day , i start feeling "riped off" soooo @ 3cups a day saves $100+ a month that i can now spend on a fine cigar.
dont get me wrong "i love/prefer real coffee" ; but there is a place for instant thats closer to the cup than to the can .
