<p>The thing that still puzzles me is that we saw people on the board that got actual tix early this week. Now some of us are getting e-mails. Why wouldn't they just have printed the 500 tickets (or however many they needed) and then sent them out. Wouldn't that have been the easiest thing to do. If they were printed by Friday they would have easily gotten to everyone in time. Especially if they went out DHL. Very odd how this went down. <p>Hey guys</p><p>I'm sorry...but at least Mikeyboy took the step to do the right thing.&nbsp; someone has to realize, this is a national show now and you have fans willing to travel to come see it.</p><p>You cannot mail these tickets out on a Friday or a Monday without an advance notice letting them know they are coming. Even smarter, out of town people should be on a list in case tickets don't get there before they need to travel.</p><p>If anyone is willing to give up vacation time and travels from Ohio and where else, give them a break.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I know it is an overwhelming task when it comes to tickets for events and even bigger things like BAC.&nbsp; we were fortunate enough to have enough people to and interns to do it.&nbsp; It actually involved staying late and, wait for it. here it comes...coming in on a weekend without pay.&nbsp; Oh mu God, don't say that out loud.</p><p>I just hope that all who are willing to travel, get notified in time.&nbsp; Who knows when the next opportunity may be with the 'Merger Monday rumor' and all the other speculation that this board feeds on</p><p>I wish that everyone who wants to can get to go. I'll start a more substantive thread, but the long and short of it is that if I received your e-mail request by Wednesday morning, February 7th, I have been assured that you will be allowed entrance to the event. I have also been assured that the rest of the tickets went out Friday for delivery on Tuesday via DHL. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation or tickets via DHL by tomorrow, get in touch with me and I will do everything I can to take care of you.

When the thing was first announced, I posted in the ticket-specific thread and the listening thread about needing tickets less than 15 minutes after the word dropped, but I'm not a message board regular (only thing that has me here today is the merger). I actually e-mailed Ronnie at the time, too, because he said that you should e-mail ronandfez@aol.com if you have trouble getting tickets. Then I guess after a plan was derived (that I never actually heard about during the times I got to listen to the show...and fuck XM for never getting R&amp;F their own channel so I would have had replays :p) and none of those initial contacts meant anything. </p><p>&nbsp;The thing that sucks the worst is I'm actually coming into the NJ/NY from out of town for that weekend and that weekend only. I sent my email that night that it was announced, Feb 5th to the hard rock tickets address and nothing..I have no tickets and its tomorrow night.
