Today when Dave was sticking up for Earl, i felt really proud and realized maybe this is the producing dream team. Sure they have there own problems but they can pick themselves up and thats where it counts, the rezeliency is incredible and if they can get through all this and still run a terrific show and we'll see if theres a terrific Big Ass Bash, then they deserved the Dream Team CROWN.

DAVE EARL RON AND FEZ FOR LIFE BUDDDAYS!

Maybe Dave has finally learned the lesson taught at any leadership school or seminar, that you can only succeed by making the people above you look good, you climb the ladder if the person above you moves up, and if they fall they'll probably take you down with them. When Earl looks bad Dave looks bad, tune in later for more corporate jargon.

Earl worries me a bit as exec producer. I worked for a brief time in radio at a very small station, and the producer's job on certain shows was very intense. On a major radio show that responsibility has to be insane. Then to do it for two completely different shows each day has to be overwhelming. It takes a very special individual to pull that off. While I think Earl is a very knowledgable radio man, I don't think he is that guy. I think he is more of an engineer. He can set the bumpers. He can do the opening songs and show intros. He can hit the breaks with ease. But when it comes to actually doing all the other stuff required of a producer (booking guests, making sure the hosts have all they need during the show, making sure any outside events come off without a hitch) I don't think he can do it. Dave is too green to perform such tasks as well. They really need a professional producer to run the show(s). Dave could be the assistant (I think he's got raw talent, he just needs to be groomed by a real pro), and I think Earl would be perfect as chief engineer for both shows. The man knows radio and music like nobody else. He just doesn't have the talent or mental stability to produce both shows.
