Here's a place for all of us actually trying to keep with Lent to support each other in the 40 quest.

I gave up fast food / all forms of junk food this year, I think it will be a little easier than me giving up drinking last year.

Today for lunch: tuna. Dinner: fish sticks.

Who else is still going strong 3 days in?

salmon club for lunch. washed it down with cranberry juice (no soda). it's not been so bad, just sometimes it's difficult to find an alternative. a lot of lemonade. at home there's often nothing but soda, so i have a beer or water.

finishing solid. have had a few sips of soda on random sundays, but never even half of a glass. gonna drown in it on easter.
still no porn. i'm looking forward to it, but honestly i've been doing alright without. my imagination is working stronger than it has in years, like it was back in the early 90s. i hope i can be a better jacker in the future because of this experience.
one thing though, i'm not sure if lent is over on sunday morning at 12:00.01am or sunday night at 11:59.99pm.
I gave up religion. So far, no cravings.

sundays don't count (that's why lent is actually a 48 day period) so the point...is moot.

i know that, technically... but people who don't keep their lent on sundays don't get credit. not from me.
so what, you went six days at a time without chocolate. big deal. i'm talking about giving up porn for a month and a half.
