Welcome to RonFez.Net 2.0.

As you can see, we are going thru some big changes. The first thing to move is the messageboard, since it's teh most active section. Please be patient as we get to know the new software. Admittedly, not everything is 100% yet (as of this writing, I haven't even moved our smileys, but I need my banning smiley), but it will be.

The old messageboard will be around for a few months for archival purposes only. You will not be able to log in to it, but you will be able to view it if you want.

We have reset mod quotes. If you liked your old one, contact a mod. If you didn't, lucky you.

The avatar storage systems were incompatible. It was just easier to have you guys either copy it off the old site or upload a new one.

The media library needs to be rewitten from scratch. It'll be running off the old site for at least a couple weeks as I write the new software.

The "home" page will also be done in a couple days. Please just be patient with that one. Right now, it does have a link to get you here on the messageboard. I will work on the navigation and information there.

There will be minimal new features added in the new few weeks until this site is able to do everything the old site was. At least give me a little time to get everything together before you start yelling that this doesn't work like that did, etc. If you see a thread or post is missing, please let me know. I can easily fix it if I know where the problem is.



Thank you Jeff for RonFez.Net 1.0-.7 (or however many revisions there have been in the last 6 years). This site would not be where it is without the site you previously created.

Thank you Carter for the original RonFez.Net (and the site before it that crashed and burned) that has spawned whatever it is we are now.

Oh, one issue I forgot above. If you had an apostrophe in your name on the old messageboard, you don't anymore. Sorry, it was a database thing. If you want it back contact a mod and they'll see if they can help you out.

The cathedral ceilings are a nice touch. They provide a nice counterbalance to the pagan imagery painted on the walls in Mod feces.

yeah i am totally liking this new board! its my new favorite. i think it looks sleek. and its vbulletin 3.5 or whatever. it was great success.

i mean its now the same as every other message board, but vbulletin was always more robust than cfforum, mainly because its freeware and has a community of developers helping to refine the product.

My only suggestin is the skin good do with a little more graphical tweaking. The colors and angularness of the layout feels more Logans Run than Ron & Fez.

I'm really not that sure. I can visit fark, but can't go to the comment threads because they have "forums" in the URL. Same with a bunch of other sites. Any site with "blog" in the title I can't access either. I never bothered visiting Wackbag or other O&A/R&F sites, but I have a feeling I'm going to be locked out. (Not that it matters, I'm starting a new position in the same company tomorrow, and I doubt I'll be coming here my first week, but it's still a bit depressing)

When you start a new thread, there's a section called "additional options" on the bottom. One of the options is "include a poll with this thread."

Just check that box.

i don't know how to do it just on the board. you have to save it to your computer and use MS paint or whatever you use for photoediting and change the dimensions of the pic. then load it to a photo hosting site, then post.

If you use the image code (img src=blahblahblah.jpg) instead of the {IMG}blahblahlblah.jpg{/IMG} you can easily resize pics.

All you have to do is specify either the height or width and it will automatically constrain the dimensions proportionately.

For example...

(img src="http:///www.gvacisgod.com/pics/nudes.jpg"width=450)

Just remember that the only space in the above code is between the img and the src at the beginning. And instead of using "( )" use these "< >"

For the life of me I can't figure out the "subscribe to thread" feature. I have somehow managed to subscribe to a few thread (I have no idea how) and can't figure out how to unsubscribe.
Also, how do I subscribe to the threads I want to follow ?


edit... Sure, after I posted this, I went to my subscriptions page and now there are "subscribe/unsubscribe" options. But somehow I became subscribed to this thread. Does it happen automatically if you post to a thread ?

Having the light blue background but also keeping a light blue color for html links could be a problem, they really blend in and it might be difficult to tell them apart. Might want to add some kind of contrast to that.
