A Question for the Women

Maybe I'm crazy, but have any of the women on the board ever noticed that they read into what women say much more deeply than what a man says? I noticed that I have a much harder time trusting women than men. Maybe it's because I can see what a mans intentions are much easier than a women.

I don't know, just a thought. Hopefully I'm not crazy....

I have to say that I know chicks are generally wary of other chicks. I have to say though, the only real friends I have in my life that are girls are the chicks I met on here. The thing is they're all the same as me in that most if not all of their other friends are guys so they now how to function normally and not like mean girls.

Gwen, your 2 cents seemed to be right on, to me anyway.
I do agree about the reading into what women say part, I think that at a young age we screw each other over so later it gets hard to trust. Your not alone but from what I understand and have read over the years the chicks on this board are cool and since most of them are like minded I feel we are all good hearted.

Hope u learn to trust, us, them. ( I say them because I have never been to an event so I havn't met any of them)

Recall how Ron was telling that guys can't bust balls with a chick like she were a guy- they hold onto it and they fixate on it for months.

Men don't put much value and meaning into every word we say. We can talk smooth and great and cool for 26 months, but one slip of the tongue and some women will hold it against you for life, regardless of whether a guy intentionally meant or not anything deep and hurtful by his words. This is not to say guys never use words in a cruel and strategic manner to hurt someone, but we can't be taken too seriously all the time when we're yapping. We're half aware of the shit flying out our mouths half the time.

Sarah's feeling about women is justifiable. I've yet to meet a creature more powerful than a woman when it comes to the emotional battlefield- words convey emotions and chicks are damned good at it- and also damned good at masking their intent. They are more likely to put alot of thought and hidden meanings into their words. I'm usually too stupid to be aware of said messages and meanings; I find the less I say around SOME girls, the less likely I am to accidentally offend them. So it's a breath of fresh air to hear Sarah's stance on things. I like to be able to talk to a chick who isn't analyzing every word that comes out my dumb mouth.
