Fighting on the Message Board

Okay, so I'm relatively newish here, so call me a newbie if you must. This board is really great, but I've seen other message boards get taken down because the in-fighting became ridiculously out of hand. Yeah, that was a Stern board that I used to frequent a while ago, and the constant negativity and fighting became so overwhelming, with a precious few wanting and threatening to "get" other message posters that they disagreed with or just didn't like for some reason, that the guy that ran the board just shut the thing down for a few months because the "getting" of people actually went beyond the message board. I wasn't disappointed that the thing was taken down really, because the place began to suck buttock exit-hole bigtime, but when it returned--the same crap started all over again. I would hate to see the same type of escalation of "fighting" happen here because it only brings the mood down. I feel bad for the guy that got shot five times, and it's interesting that he likes to smash people's heads open, but all of that type of talk eventually becomes way too serious, and I'd hate to see anyone get hurt or seriously harrassed over a simple message board. So, please, can't we all just get along, before I have to track some of you down and smash your @$%^&ing teeth down your #%^&ing throats? Thanks. :)

There is NO fighting here. This is a very friendly board,
and anyone who starts trouble gets banned. It's that simple.
And there is no "newbie" stuff either. We are here to have fun, and everyone is welcomed and encouraged to post. So welcome, have fun, and don't worry about fights.

It's true, though, Belch. We don't take ourselves too seriosuly here, and if someone does start up, the situation is usually remedied pronto.

We are a sarcastic bunch of ball breakers, however, so maybe you merely misinterpreted something you read. If someone has gone too far in your opinion, alert one of the moderators and they'll most likely be glad to help.

Thanks for all the great wishes. I was remiss in mentioning in my first post that 99.9999% of what I find here is fun, and that is REALLY unusual for any message board. I guess I just came across a lengthy thread where it seemed like two guys were gonna try to tea-bag each other at the next bar crawl & try to draw blood in the process. For the record: I really like it here, and of course, the R&F show which I rarely miss. I do wish though that some of you would give Don & Mike more of a chance to grow on you if you can listen during those midday hours. I call those guys about twice a week, and get away with murder when I get on, and it (usually) turns out to be hilarious. If any of you heard the Pumpkin Fucking show, um.... the Fumpkin Pucking show, you would've been instant fans. I called in on that day to tell them that I just invented the "home version", and added that I was Pucking a Spaghetti Squash named Shaniqua after I was finishing fouling my pumpkin. It was a great laughfest, and eventually the call will end up on my site if anyone's interested. Hey, when I first listened to R&F, I really thought that I wouldn't be able to stand Fezzie's voice, but then in no time at all I found out how incredibly witty and hilarious he is, and the Fezatorials are CLASSICS every time. So when's the next bar crawl? I wanna go!

OH, and thanks to whoever the moderator was that put "excuse me" below my name! I just noticed it and busted out laughing!

We're just a big goofy family here. I really like the fact that there are no "newbie" bashings and no one tools on you hard. Unlike the big island cough cough.....
We're here to stick to the subject matter and have some fun with it. This place is supposed to make you laugh, not get pissy. When I come home after a long day of work, I turn on RF.net and I don't want headaches, I just want smiles and happy euphoria and that's just what I get from this place. This place is my home and there is no way it will resort to the likes of other message boards. We're a unique coral reef!

Speaking of Don and Mike, I listened one day during the week of Halloween for about a half hour. They were rating the hottest nude scenes in horror movies. The way they went about it was pretty funny. I don't listen to them that often but when I do I don't find them funny or entertaining....except for that one day. Eh I give everything a chance. I'd listen more if I had the opportunity.

I for one am also unaware of any fighting taking place on the board. In fact, I would be surprised if there were anyone around here who would take to making idle threats against another member of the board for no good reason. It seems so beneath the stellar members of ronfez.net.<br>
So just pipe down or else I'll have to pull a Ron and heartpunch you. I'm serious. And don't any of you high and mighty administration people get involved with this either or I'll heartpunch you guys too. I will hit you so hard your lunch will come up.<br>

Belcher, I have not be a member of this board for a very long time, but I have been around long enough that this board is the most friendly place ever. Like EffMeBoobs stated before, it's like one big goofy family. Nobody is going to fight, so just hang out and enjoy the ride.
